  • This fragrance is an absolute bomb. I received many compliments on how sexy my perfume smelled, even at the seven-hour mark. Sincerely, it’s one of my favorites for this spring and summer. Buy blind. Fruity and saffron opening with a woody base. Even though it’s fruity, I see it as very masculine. You’ll be surprised when you wear it.

  • Tested with two sprays on skin. Immediate reaction: fantastic. It smells clean, floral, and ambered. Its longevity seems a bit weak, but ideal for spring-summer, and at this price, you can overapply without fear.

  • This one really hits the spot. I didn’t dislike the previous version, but it just didn’t grab me. With this Intense, the dark incense note is a total win; while the other sounded a bit ‘pretentious’, this has a rougher, edgier character. If you’re looking for something like Erba Pura but without that loud, brash scent, this is it. Performance is controllable: 4 or 5 sprays are more than enough. Zara keeps nailing the Intense line, 10/10.

  • This one is worth it. Although the previous version didn’t disgust me, I wasn’t passionate about it. But the Intense adds that dark touch of incense and is a hit. The previous one felt a bit ‘pretentious’; this one is more ‘rugged’. If you’re looking for Erba Pura alternatives while avoiding a loud scent, here’s something you might like. Control the sprays because 4 or 5 is plenty. For now, Zara is doing great with the latest Intense lines, 10/10.

Two sprays on skin and the reaction was brutal. It smells clean, floral, with that perfect amber touch. It definitely smells amazing, though the longevity feels a bit short. Ideal for spring and summer, and at this price point, you can really afford to splurge.

Writing this with both this and Erba Pura on each arm. I can only agree with Zara on this approach. Although theoretically they’re different (Erba Pura is citrusy, fruity, and vanilla; this is fruity, floral, amber with incense), in reality, they’re about 80% similar. Yes, Erba Pura is more projecting, intense, and long-lasting. Tender Amber Intense feels like a slightly more masculine, versatile version, and above all, cheap in a good way: you can tell it’s quality. Both start with a synthetic fruity explosion. It didn’t click for me at first, but it deserves a second chance. Over time, I’ve fallen more in love with that dry, rich amber and incense side that lasts hours on skin and days on clothes.

  • When writing this, I have this and Erba Pura on each arm. I can only praise Zara for the approximation. Theoretically, they’re different: Erba Pura is citrusy, fruity, vanilla, and musky; this one is fruity, floral, ambered with a touch of incense. But in reality, they’re about 80% similar. It’s true that Erba Pura projects more, is more intense, and lasts longer. Tender Amber Intense can be considered a more masculine version (thanks to the incense and amber), versatile, and above all, cheap in a good way: you can tell the quality, even though both aim for a synthetic fruity explosion at the start. It didn’t click for me at first, but it deserves a second try. Over time, I’ve grown to like it more. When it dries, it leaves that rich ambered, incense-dried part that lingers for hours on skin and days on clothes.

  • This Zara option is a hit. The scent is fairly linear from the opening to the dry-down, but it’s rich and distinct. They say it resembles Xerjoff’s Erba Pura, which I haven’t tried, but it’s very similar to Al Haramain’s version. I liked it, though I’m not sure I’d use it often because, although Zara perfumes usually don’t last long, this one was spectacular. I applied it to my arm alongside other designer scents, worked out, showered, and after eight hours, only this one was still detectable, with no trace of the others. The next day, I still had a faint aroma, though very muted. If you like it, go for it. In the end, it wore me out a bit due to the intensity after hours.

  • Total surprise. They give this perfume 4.5 stars, while the original fragrances it mimics—which are of much higher quality—get less than 4. That’s where I’ll leave it.

OK, OK, OK. I bought it at a steal (8 dollars, whereas in Chile it’s 30) and thought: what could I lose? Nothing. What a surprise. It’s sweet and floral, but with a totally masculine vibe. Does it resemble Erba Pura or its dupes? About 50%. I’ve tried several dupes and most smell the same, but this one has its own path. It’s unisex but leans masculine, rich, and super versatile: I’ve worn it to work, out, and on dates, and it works perfectly. Performance is very good; Zara has exceeded expectations here. Lasts about 8 hours on skin and trails for another 2. Big thanks to Zara, I recommend it 100%.

  • How exquisite this perfume is. And the best part? It lasts more than fourteen hours on the skin.

OK, OK, OK. I bought it for a steal (8 dollars; in Chile it’s 30). What could I lose? Nothing. What a surprise. It smells sweet and floral but with a totally masculine vibe. Is it a dupe for Erba Pura? I’d say 50%. I’ve tried several dupes, and most smell the same, but this one has its own path. It’s unisex, with a heavier, richer, super-versatile masculine edge: works in the office, outdoors, or for nights out. The performance is brutal. Zara has been criticized for this, and they fixed it with this fragrance. It lasts about eight hours on skin, and the trail is noticeable for two more. Big kudos to Zara; I recommend it 100%.

Zara has made history with four recent hits that have become permanent staples: Sunrise On The Red Sand Dunes, Sand Desert At Sunset, Absolutely Dark, and Tender Amber. And the best part? Each one has an Intense version. To me, the original Tender Amber always sounded very feminine, like Erba Pura Eau Fraiche. But the Intense is something else: it projects personality, smells like fruity shampoo, and has a touch of incense that adds mystery. On my skin, it lasts more than eight hours, starts strong, and then creates an incredible personal bubble; its magic lies in the trail, which smells better than the scent directly on the skin. It’s perfect for summer nights or mild climates. Warning: in extreme heat or at the gym, it’s a crime—you’ll suffocate yourself and everyone around you. For hot days, the regular version is the way to go.
