Yves Rocher Telquel: The scent that defined me forever. It was my signature fragrance from ’97 to ’02, a fixed part of my daily routine. Its longevity didn’t just accompany me; it earned me compliments, especially from women who’d stop in their tracks admiring that touch of masculine elegance. Even when I was riding my motorcycle, the trail I left behind smelled incredible to anyone following. The best part? It works for everything, from casual to formal, with a natural sophistication. It clung to my clothes for days—jackets and scarves alike, as if it had been absorbed into the fabric. I found it blindly to support a friend’s catalog listing, and it was the best surprise; it exceeded my expectations. It’s timeless and unique; I haven’t found anything like it in stores or even in Arab perfumes. Unfortunately, they discontinued it, but if it came back exactly as it was, I’d buy it without hesitation. It just needs to be back on the market. The green bottle with the amber cap was just as iconic as the scent. In Mexico, the packaging was the same as the aftershave in other countries, but with the beautiful colors specific to here.

Best-in-class projection and sillage; lasts for months on clothes, even through harsh winters (exaggeratedly long-lasting). Smells very similar to Bentley for Men Intense, but not identical. I still have a bottle; I loved it so much I went through two, and I say its sillage and projection are superior to anything available today. It’s from the 90s Yves Rocher line and is no longer available. Use it in cold weather and for special occasions to turn heads. I OWN MANY PERFUMES, BUT I TELL YOU: I HAVEN’T TRIED ANYTHING MORE LONG-LASTING OR INTENSE THAN TEL QUEL. THE CLOSEST IN PERFORMANCE IS A MEN, BUT NOTHING HAS EVER LASTED 9 MONTHS ON A JACKET LIKE THIS ONE. Its scent is totally current. Tel Quel was a French magazine from the 60s to the 80s, which is why the bottle looks like a folded magazine and the cap features the cover grid color. And the glass is that signature tea green.
