The top notes unfold with tobacco leaves, cognac, rum, coffee, saffron, and cardamom. The heart of the fragrance reveals tobacco, hay, plum, periwinkle, raspberry, lily root, osmanthus, carnation, carrot seeds, violet, and heliotrope. Finally, the base notes settle on opoponax, castoreum, oakmoss, cedar, patchouli, tonka bean, cipriol, sandalwood, and mushroom.

A complex composition where tobacco takes command on my skin. Right from the start, it hits hard with a boozy, spiced opening; I detect a sweet but very subtle base. The tobacco lingers, dark and ashtray-like, yet pleasant if you’re a fan of this note, which I am. Suddenly, green and herbal notes emerge with a touch of sweet-fruitiness. In the dry down, the tobacco remains but more contained, likely thanks to the tonka bean. The final phase loses some punch but settles into a tamer blend of notes. To enjoy this, you must be a tobacco lover; otherwise, it’s a miss. Perfect for cold nights and special occasions. Not for dates or the office. Ideal for personal indulgence, late nights, or even a dark club with electronic or black metal. I’m rambling. Very interesting. Performance is outstanding. Time will tell if it’s a buy. I absolutely loved it.
