Karíkia by Angelos Créations Olfactives is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2023, this olfactive composition was created by nose Angelos Balamis. The top notes reveal aldehydes, oak, saffron, blood orange, and acacia; the heart unfolds tobacco leaf, cedarwood, incense, nutmeg, black pepper, hinoki cypress, brown boronia, cypress, tansy, Virginia cedar, and Siam wood; while the base settles on a bed of pancake, hay, hazelnut, castoreum, beeswax, Bulgarian blond tobacco, Madagascar vanilla, Australian sandalwood, ambergris, and tonka bean.

One of the best I’ve ever smelled in my life. It’s authentic, with a brilliant vintage essence that doesn’t smell like ‘old person’ or stale. It’s gourmand but elegant and sophisticated thanks to the woods and resins. The tobacco is spectacular and clean. When it dries down, it becomes powdery, hazelnutty, and creamy. The price hurts, but if you’re looking for this style, you won’t regret it.
It’s a work of art that awakens hidden memories. It’s impossible to define, but if you try, it’s elegant with gourmand notes (tonka bean, hazelnut) and fresh woody tobacco. When it dries down, my girlfriend said it smells like dusty chamomile and earthy, and she’s right. It’s not very versatile; I save it for private moments. For the price, I bought a decant, but if you try it, take advantage. Edit: lately I notice more tobacco. It’s chamomile with tobacco, very deep and dark. A piece of art to enjoy in solitude.
Totally agree with the previous review. This isn’t for daily wear; it’s a pure olfactory experience. It smells of untamable, bitter, dry tobacco from start to finish. In my opinion, it’s too ‘imposing’.
