Summer in Antigua by Andraus Parfums is an olfactive fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2024, this composition features the nose of Sébastien Fligier. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with mint, bergamot, lemon, marine notes, and petit grain. The heart unfolds with valley lily, orange blossom, and ylang-ylang, while the base settles on cedar, white musk, and sea algae.

Smells delicious! It has its own distinct character, with a more natural note of bergamot, lemon, and cedar. I’d say it smells like a luxury specialized version with the beautiful touch of mint and natural, juicy petit grain. The orange blossom and the “fresh breeze” are detectable and make the opening very robust. The mint keeps breathing alongside the lemon and seaweed; definitely this is something I’d consider a “composition”, it smells and wears like a handcrafted scent. This continues until the end, where it maintains its freshness with the eternal mint note. The presentation is one of the best I’ve seen and, by far, the best within this price range. It sits alongside Amouage, PdM, and other specialized scents in my collection. This one stands out; it simply looks much more expensive and detailed. The presentation screams “nicho”! My sillage is about 1 meter. The spray doesn’t come out oily like some extracts and the concentration seems very good. I don’t think you can go wrong with this, it’s a niche scent that many love with a fresh smell and better performance. I highly recommend it. The box and design are a great touch, with well-thought-out details. Top recommendation. Scent: 9.5/10 Performance: 9/10 Sillage: 8/10

  • Fire! Fire in a bottle! Extremely well-blended, plus the multitude of notes and how they ‘shine’, I was thinking I was wearing a $600 Red. Master perfumer. 10/10 Sincerely, I can’t believe how good it is… Literally, my jaw dropped when I first opened the bottle! I’ve never smelled anything like this and have tried many perfumes. I love the opening and it’s very strong, but it fades in the first 10 minutes, leaving this delicious and citrusy dry-down. This could be my new favorite fragrance! I keep smelling my wrist, wanting to bite it hahaha, this perfume is addictive! But! My love for SUMMER IN ANTIGUA also doubles as an absolutely beautiful mint scent. I always seek the best menthol, and all that explosive citrus delight here is just a bonus to what could have been a fantastic outing. That said, I love everything about Summer in Antigua and wouldn’t change a thing. The ‘surprise factor’ is important, and after the great opening, it dries down to produce such a pleasant aroma that I could literally see anyone wearing it. The persistent mint keeps it deliciously tasty! Summer in Antigua jumps instantly to the top of my list as one of my best and most sought-after bottles in my collection, as well as one of the best launches of 2024. This changes the game a bit; it’s a truly epic, luxurious, and indulgent scent. Be sure to put your nose to it. Bravo to Sébastien Fligier for a true marvel!

SIMPLY WOW! People will be complimenting you non-stop! For me, this fragrance has one of the best openings ever. It’s addictive and makes you want to keep chasing it. Summer in Antigua turned out to be less complex than I expected. It opens with a basket full of various citrus notes. You can easily detect the citrus notes, like bergamot, lemon, and petit grain. The marine notes, seaweed, and orange blossom are very present, ensuring a very charming freshness. It’s one of the best citrus openings I’ve experienced in a long time. The heart is citrus and slightly green, with marine touches added to the mix. In my opinion, the middle notes serve to connect the front-line soldiers (the citrus notes) with the more woody rear-guard troops. The base is quite complex, with a lot of solidity and efficiency. Cedar and seaweed blend well with the musk. The fresh top side is stronger than the woody base, and the effect is achieved without aggressive facets, everything feels very natural as we’re used to from the house Andraus Parfums, high quality. We’re dealing with high-quality ingredients, which guarantees a memorable imprint on a very pleasant citrus fragrance, one of the best, with a beautiful memory of Antigua Guatemala (I’ve been to that city once). The performance is above average for a fresh fragrance, but I’d classify the fragrance globally as “high” performance with a noble longevity of up to 8 to 9 hours, though with a more contained sillage of less than five feet and about two hours of projection (with three sprays on the back of my hand). In my wardrobe, labeled as a citrus fragrance, I’d keep it near the “parking spot.” Is it unique? It’s really not about having similar accords, but there is a very unique facet, being more aggressive at the start and drying down to a softer, calmer scent. Can it be considered a masterpiece? I’d answer with a simple… YES, THE BEST OF ANDRAUS PARFUMS. Wow Rating: 10/10 Uniqueness: 10/10 Projected Appeal: 10/10 Projection: 8/10 Sillage: 8/10 Application: 3 to 4 sprays Duration: 8 to 9 hours and projects for about 7 hours Occasions: Any time in summer Versatility: 9/10 Gender: Unisex Ages: 18 and up Blind Buy: Yes, without any problem Similar: Unique, I don’t have anything like it

Summer in Antigua is a delicious fragrance, a fresh breeze for hot days. It’s a luxury marine breeze because, as a niche scent, its notes are top-quality and feel very natural. It starts spectacularly with citrus, highlighting Italian bergamot and mint (present in all three phases), alongside marine notes and other citrus; then florals enter, adding an elegant and relaxed touch, and as it dries down, woods, algae, and white musk add a sexy vibe to this beautiful, original scent. I don’t know if the new perfumer Sébastien Fligier for this niche house chose a top-tier Italian composition to represent this artistic city of Antigua Guatemala, knowing that, according to experts, it was built with a layout inspired by Italian Renaissance principles. Art that represents art…
