After my obsession with Heavenly Place, I had to try Wonder Dream, and wow, it didn’t disappoint. With this one, I’ll just talk about the scent. Lucky me, it’s the most refined luxury fresh I’ve ever tried. And I say ‘what a pity’ because it’s so well-made that I want to keep it forever. Wonder Dream is exquisite; it tells the story of Guatemala’s Quetzal Biotope, giving it great originality. At first, that airy note softens and gives way to a strong dose of mandarin and birch, built on a base of cardamom, pine, and patchouli. You can tell it’s top-tier quality. The experience is very elegant. It’s the citrus in the opening—a ‘crunchy’ bergamot, as the brand says. Plus, it releases that citrus sensation with amber touches to round it out; it smells deadly good. In the end, it smells extremely natural, using only fine materials. It’s notable that Andraus Parfums uses high-quality raw materials in a sophisticated, modern way. Wow: 10/10 Uniqueness: 10/10 Sillage: 9/10 Projection: 9/10 Trail: 10/10 Application: 4-5 sprays Longevity: 10 hours and projects 7 inches. Occasions: Any moment, even formal. Versatility: 8/10 Gender: Unisex Ages: 25+ Blind buy: Yes, no problem. Similar: Unique, nothing like it.
I’ve been wearing this Nicho jewel for a few days, and before I give my full opinion, I feel niche perfumery is losing its soul due to cloning and mass production, when its very reason for being is to create unique, high-quality fragrances. By that standard, I applaud WONDER DREAM by Andraus Parfums—a blend with a unique concept and composition. The packaging tells the story: inspired by the quetzal biotope, a protected subtropical forest in Guatemala with unique fauna and flora. I see it as a modern fougère: top notes of bergamot, mandarin, cardamom, black pepper, and lemon; heart of birch, pine, sage, and lavender; base of amber and patchouli. It’s very evolving: fresh citrus on the first spray, then cardamom and pepper take over before settling into herbal and woody notes with a smoky birch touch and mentholated sage hints. Finally, the patchouli and amber add a slight sweetness that’s my favorite part. This piece not only delights but makes you reflect on the importance of protecting ecosystems threatened by human greed, like the quetzal’s habitat, a symbol of goodness and light for the Maya and Aztecs. For every bottle sold, a dollar goes to SAVE THE CHILDREN. Applause for this olfactory metaphor.
Ah, yes, the fragrance that solidified Andraus Parfums. It’s totally original and unique; it’s already my daily scent and the gateway to this addictive house. It’s unisex, indescribable, and perfect for any occasion. I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like it, though you might know if it’s for you. I place it between strong liking and love depending on the trail; when I catch it on someone else from a few meters away, it’s fascinating. On my skin, the bubble oscillates between a pleasant citrus and an interesting marine tone. It’s very potent and doesn’t require much product. If you enjoy wearing it, a bottle lasts a long time: it starts with an intense bergamot note that highlights the citrus, followed by birch that adds dry, opulent wood. It’s a refined juice, and the pine comes alive at the end. Safe purchase, definitely try it. The experience is extraordinary; you need an experienced nose to truly understand this masterpiece by Patrick Bodifee. WHAT A JEWEL! Bravo, Samy Andraus, I take off my hat.
