I’ve tested two perfumes from this brand and noticed they share a trait: their openings have nothing to do with their dry-downs. There are two distinct phases. Stilla’s opening smells of natural lavender, without that typical soapy touch; it seems like pure essential oil. Gradually, eucalyptus enters and blends with the lavender; then the lavender disappears all at once, as if it were never there. The second phase is much fresher, green, and herbal; eucalyptus dominates, with unlisted herbal notes that remind me of Barry Lyndon, but without leather and with a woody base. Ideal for autumn/spring, though I think it works in any climate. It smells more masculine to me, though that’s subjective. Performance is acceptable: very noticeable for the first 3-4 hours, then clinging to the skin for another 8. I liked it for its originality and curious evolution, even if it might turn off those looking for something linear. Then there’s the usual: the excessive prices of niches these days, but who can afford it anyway…
Testing it out and I’m blown away by how different it smells. It’s like wearing a breathable eucalyptus candy. I’m not sure if it’s the scent I want for daily wear, but it’s already on my wishlist for being so original. It smells natural, lasts a long time, and is different from everything I’ve tried. Testing this perfume, and honestly, I love it for how different it is. It’s like wearing a breathable eucalyptus candy. I’m not sure if it’s the scent I want for daily wear, but it definitely made it to my wishlist for its originality. Natural scent, long-lasting, and distinct from everything I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried two scents from this brand now, and they share one trait: the opening and dry-down are completely different worlds. Stilla starts with a very natural lavender, lacking that soapy note found in others; it feels almost like pure essential oil. Then eucalyptus kicks in, blending until the lavender vanishes abruptly, as if it were never there. The second phase is super fresh, green, and herbal; eucalyptus takes the lead, with unlisted notes that remind me of Barry Lyndon, but with a woody base instead of leather. Perfect for autumn or spring, though I think it works in any weather. It smells more masculine to me, though that’s subjective. Performance is good: very noticeable for the first 3-4 hours, then clinging to the skin for another 8. I like it for its originality and curious evolution, even if it might turn off those seeking something linear. Then there’s the usual: niche prices are excessive these days, but if you can afford it, it’s worth it.
