This perfume keeps a secret that the bottle doesn’t reveal, and that’s awesome. It’s dark, sexy, and dense: a head-to-toe oriental, woody, resinous, with a sweet touch. At first, it smells of rose and oud, powerful, a bit dirty but also powdery and delicate… I liked it, even though I thought ‘oh no, another one?’. But on my skin, it fades in about 30 minutes without leaving any rose trace in the heart or dry down. What remains are warm, balsamic woods, a light vanilla (nothing pastry-like), and a carnal musk that isn’t animalic. Overall, it’s well-balanced, not piercing, easy to wear, and 100% unisex for fall and winter. Perfect for going out at night or staying in with a blanket… it’s seductive and cozy at the same time. It’s a beautiful scent, different from what I’ve tried but similar to others in my collection, so I won’t buy it, even though I enjoyed it.
