I’d been wanting to try Salted Caramel for days (: My friends were divided: some hated it, even saying it smelled like vomit, haha, while others adored it. Here I am with the package, trembling hands.. no way xD, expecting a delicious salted caramel. When I smelled it.. ufff!!! It’s a weird mix, too salty and sweet at the same time. At first, it smells like cookies or bread; the salt is very prominent, reminiscent of the sea salt in Womanity and Coney Island, and in the dry-down, the sweet caramel appears but isn’t cloying; I expected something creamier. In the base, there’s something marine or aquatic (but very synthetic), typical of men’s perfumes. It lasts a long time on the skin but doesn’t project well. Well, too bad… it’s going straight to the gift box. Maybe for the lovers or haters of Salted Caramel, like me; in any case, it won’t be indifferent to them 😉

Caramel and salt, spot on. Upon opening, it smells like sugar burning at its sweetest point, but my nose picks up more salt than sweetness. As it dries down, it becomes sweeter, like a freshly made almond pancake with a pinch of salt to balance it and a thin layer of melted caramel on top. It’s not cloying; it’s well-balanced. Ideal for winter and night, with great longevity. Would I buy it? No, it’s a delicious treat to enjoy occasionally.
