  Starts with a very luminous, almost fresh rose. The patchouli is there but not overpowering, more of a supporting background note, with woods also in the background. In the dry down, it loses a bit of freshness and becomes slightly gourmand, perhaps due to vanilla or benzoin in the base; the rose turns creamier. At the end, the woods take over, but the scent doesn’t change much. Good longevity and strong projection for the first few hours, lasting between 6 to 8 hours. It would be ideal in moderate climates. For me, it’s a unisex rose: although the note is classically feminine, the woods lean it toward the masculine side. I liked it. It’s a simple but well-executed rose fragrance that delivers on its notes and, most importantly, smells great. Longevity is a plus. The downside, as with all from this brand, is the price.
