I’m not sure if it smells exactly like another, but it’s a frankincense gardenia, very different from normal florals where the flower takes center stage. Don’t expect something sparkling for hours; the opening is floral and fresh, almost herbal, perhaps due to the frankincense or gin. After 15 minutes, I still notice that initial essence, but it’s more woody and not sweet. In short, I love it a lot. It’s unique, has a great trail and longevity, and the price is reasonable. I’d give it a 9 and recommend it to anyone looking for a perfume with ‘time’. Like L’Artisan or Diptyque, you need to give it time to reveal its true self.
