  I’ve had this for a while and I’m a huge Calvin Klein fan. To me, it’s a masterpiece—intoxicating and not for the masses; it scares people away when I walk out. On my skin, it starts with very ripe dates and a fleeting touch of neroli. As it dries, leather, flowers, ylang-ylang, patchouli, and vanilla take over, leaving the dates behind in a sweetness that isn’t gourmand. It’s not made to please everyone; it depends on how it dries on each person. It’s gotten along great with my skin; the dry-down is marvelous. It’s sweet dates with leather, patchouli, and vanilla, perfect only for cold winter days—impossible in summer. I apply it half an hour before leaving so I don’t overwhelm people, because as it dries, the intensity drops and it settles comfortably. Two sprays last about six hours, projecting strongly for the first two. It doesn’t smell like anything in today’s perfumery. The Euphoria line is spectacular; it’s not for everyone. These are hard, not soft or polished, scents for women who love difficult fragrances with sharp openings that reveal magic when they dry down.

  Lots of ylang-ylang, almost like palo santo. At first, it hit me hard, even smelling like cumin under the arms, but once it dries down, you can tell it has charm. Definitely not for everyone’s taste.
