I went to my aunt’s catalog store and found this perfume she hadn’t used in years, but I have a vivid childhood memory of it. My mom used a scented cream that I remember as intense and annoying; as a kid, I hated that smell. But trying it today was a completely different experience. The opening is a powerful, slightly animalic jasmine, followed by pure sweet, synthetic musk—very heavy and creamy with spicy undertones. It’s definitely a perfume from another time, but I only started to enjoy and appreciate its notes after turning 30.
I’m not sure when this fragrance was released, but I remember my aunt always wearing a super sweet and potent perfume in the 90s. I mentioned this to my mom, and she said she used a lot of this one (Pastel) back then. I didn’t like it because it overwhelmed my nose, and for some reason, I associated it with breast milk—I thought it smelled like that 😂😂. Anyway, I’d love to smell it again because I know it would instantly transport me back to my beautiful childhood ☺️
It seemed very strong years ago and yes, it is quite strong, but nothing compared to Scandal by Night. It’s sweet, a vintage scent, but personally when I wear it, I don’t perceive it as overpowering. It has good longevity on skin (I always apply lotion first). I wear it when I want to smell like those perfumes from the past.

It’s a very strong perfume. I think it should be used occasionally to avoid causing discomfort. Not for the office; I feel it would make me dizzy if worn daily.
