  Parfum Sacré fell in love with me at first sniff. It’s an oriental fragrance that evokes a mystical sunset at the Taj Mahal: a huge sun with a golden halo embracing us to enjoy the night. It’s not just any oriental; it’s packed with seduction and passion, a warm, softly erotic sensation. Imagine Cleopatra proudly wearing a few drops on her skin. It’s a blend of rose and pepper, bringing out the best in both. As an oriental, the pepper dominates the rose, which isn’t the typical garden variety but a Middle Eastern rose loaded with mysticism and dusted petals of spices (myrrh, clove, and vanilla). I couldn’t help but succumb. In the EDP version, the first few seconds seem intoxicating, smoky, and tobacco-like, but then they relax and give way to everything described. Know how to wield this elixir’s power; if you overapply, it can become problematic. It’s highly durable on the skin.

  I own it in another bottle; it’s a soft spice blend, nothing annoying, quite the opposite, it’s a joy. The notes are well-blended, though everyone smells it differently. I absolutely love perfumes with incense, myrrh, and spices because my nose is already accustomed to them. For me, each note has its own moment, and it’s perfect. The longevity varies between 4 and 8 hours. It’s unisex, and nowadays it’s hard to find since it’s discontinued, but if you can grab it at a good price, it’s worth it. I see it as elegant and mysterious. I guarantee that any perfume with myrrh has that sacred touch.

It lasts forever and clings to your clothes for days. Perfect for nights and cold weather, stay away from the heat.
