Panthea by Stéphane Humbert Lucas is floral and musky. It opens fresh with tea, bergamot, and a powdery, creamy iris. As it dries, jasmine and musk stand out, creating a floral and powdery fragrance. It’s light, bright, and energetic, with a clean, classy feel. Not very original, but it has plenty of elegance and quality. Pity it only lasts 3-5 hours and has weak projection.
Panthea left me puzzled at first, over a month ago. The scent was pleasant but nothing special, so I put it away quickly. Trying it again today: it’s a play of light and shadow like a harp. Citrus at the start, then clove, violet, and jasmine take over, covered by a dusty iris. The base of musk, patchouli, and wood gives an extreme cleanliness, as if a hazy note floats around you. Unisex? The herbal notes suggest it, but I think Panthea awakens a Cleopatra more than a Julius Caesar.
