At first, it’s not very expressive, coming across as a bit muted, perhaps due to the lack of citrus. Soon enough, it reveals itself with good taste and personality. Slightly powdery, tender, and understated.
You can definitely detect the aldehydes. It’s a powdery fragrance, somewhat soft, but with good longevity on my skin.
A fresh summer aroma with a clean scent. Smells like floral powder; you can definitely detect the rose and honey. You have to use a little because it can be overwhelming; I wouldn’t wear it in winter, and it’s not my favorite: so much powder can actually be annoying.
It smells like a baby with a playful, fresh twist. Powdery, dusted, and with a lasting trail. Rich enough for both summer and winter.
At first, it smells like an old cologne, similar to Joya, with a citrusy note; luckily, it lasts only a split second before evaporating, leaving a trail reminiscent of Montale’s Powder Flowers: soft and powdery, like baby powder. It’s very tender, though it doesn’t last as long or project as much as Montale’s (and I have the Cologne, not the Parfum). Perfect for any season.
At first, it smells like an old cologne, similar to Joya, something citrusy; fortunately, it fades quickly leaving a trail like Montale’s Powder Flowers: soft, powdery, baby-like. It’s very tender, though it doesn’t last as long or project as much as the Montale, and note that I have the Cologne, not the Parfum. Works for any season.
Imagine an old-fashioned powder puff, the kind with a cute, soft applicator, and press it all over your body, feeling yourself submerged in a cloud of perfumed dust. That’s Sombra Rosa: a delightful mix of powders, talc, rose, iris, and sandalwood. Sweet and tender like a baby’s head, affectionate like a grandmother’s hug, and warm like a mother’s lap. A simple, clean, tender, and charming fragrance.
The ultimate powder fragrance: a cloud of dusty rose. Warm, dry, and clean. My favorite, hands down.
My absolute top powder scent, unbeatable. My friend’s mom wears it, and even though she’s older, it doesn’t smell ‘old’ at all. I was genuinely surprised to find out the younger girl has been wearing it since the 80s; I’d never heard anyone else use it, which I loved. You won’t smell it everywhere—in fact, many people don’t even know it. It’s soft, delicate, and an incredibly rich powder scent. Neither cloying nor intrusive, it smells clean and understated.
It’s a super powdery and delicious perfume. It lasts well on my skin and leaves a trail. It’s for those who love very powdery and sweet perfumes.
Smells like very rich baby powder, but I don’t always take it. I love the bottle’s scent, but when I apply it to my skin sometimes it doesn’t sit well.
Smells like rich baby powder. In Mexico there’s a brand called Menen, it’s feminine, like having a newborn. It lasts a long time, even if you sleep with it, by dawn you smell like powder and the sheets too.
Smells like old wooden drawer furniture, maddening. I wore it just for fun and still didn’t enjoy it; the wood note is very strong, with little talc. It’s like smelling an old 1950s baby.
It’s a vanity perfume that smells like floral powder, a mix of Teint de neige and roses. The powdery notes are always present. It’s a timeless scent for lovers of pure powders. If you like Bvlgari’s Petits et mamans, Teint de Neige, Soavissima, or Tous Baby, this will conquer you.
Smells like old, annoying wooden furniture. I’ve worn it for fun but I don’t enjoy it; the wood note is very strong and there’s not much powder. It’s like smelling a baby from the 50s.
Smells like baby powder. In Mexico, there’s a brand called Menen. It’s feminine, like having a newborn baby. It lasts forever; even if you sleep with it on, you can still smell it at dawn, and the sheets too.
I met it while helping my grandma clean her vanity and I was like wow, even though we don’t have the same tastes, I thought it was adorable. What I notice most is the iris, the roses, the musk, and the peach, all powdery with a touch of honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. Worth trying, normally powders don’t last on me but this one does.
Super cute baby powder, from the bottle to the color, pure cuteness! Maybe new generations won’t like it, but it’s charming and lasts a long time. I hope to have it again someday.
It’s baby powder with roses, ylang-ylang, a touch of tonka bean and vanilla at the bottom that adds elegance and a vintage vibe. It’s not invasive, soft, and reminds me of Kenzo Amour. I like it, although I expected something more magical, but the balance between old and modern is good.
I love it, smells like baby powder, almost like a baby. Gives the sensation of something old but well-cared for and beautiful. It lasts a long time on my skin and leaves a trail.
I’m obsessed with it. Smells like baby powder and talc, a bit like a newborn baby. Gives off a vintage vibe but well-cared-for and pretty. Lasts well on my skin and leaves a trail.
Smells like very strong, dry powder, like the old kinds that gave me the creeps. Ombre Rose is like this: I expected something more subtle, but the perfume’s age has given it potency. The ingredients are high quality, but I don’t see myself wearing it, especially not in summer.
Overpowering talc, heavy. Reminds me of Maja powders, which were excessively strong and dry. That’s Ombre Rose. I expected a subtler, softer powdery scent, but I should have assumed the age of the perfume would result in a strong aroma. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable, but ultimately, I can’t see myself using something so intense, and certainly not at any time other than winter.
