This smells practically identical to Still Leather but with a slightly stronger, rougher leather note. It’s a bit less sweet due to the amber and less mossy than the 01. I’ve tested two batches of Ombré Leather—one with rougher leather and one leaning sweet; this one is the rough version. That’s why it’s called Know The Leather, because you can get that vibe at an accessible price. Meanwhile, the other is called Still Leather because the leather note is toned down.
This new Zara collection is excellent, and this is my favorite of the three. Definitely a Tom Ford-style leather, specifically reminiscent of Ombré Leather, but I’d say it leans closer to the Parfum version thanks to the floral touches, making it a very wearable leather scent.
After two years of skipping Zara perfumes in favor of niche houses like Amouage or Xerjoff, I can say this perfume doesn’t match its price tag. Know The Leather is a leather accord with Tom Ford vibes, but at just €15.99. Without a doubt, I bought it because it’s perfect for daily wear. If you love leather accords, this is your perfume!
This new Zara collection is really good; out of the three, this is my favorite. It’s a Tom Ford-style leather, more like Ombre Leather, and I think it’s closer to the Parfum version because of those floral notes that make it very wearable.
After spraying it on my jacket sleeve, it lasted three days. However, since the similarities to Still Leather are the same, I disagree with those comparisons. If you haven’t smelled Homme Leather or Tuscan Leather, this Know Leather has nothing to do with Still. This one smells more aged, animalistic, like a stable or rustic leather; if you like that, great, but Still is finer and they’re not alike at all. Still has been on my other sleeve for a week and still going. To give you an idea, this leather feels more like cowboy boots or a saddle, while Still is like Italian loafers or brand-new luxury car leather.
Great price for what it is. Dress it up for formal wear. The only downside is the first twenty minutes smell like burnt rubber. Once that initial blast passes, even though it stays very close to the skin, it settles into an amazing Russian leather scent.
I bought it as part of the STILL Leather combo for 400 Mexican pesos for both—a steal, and definitely very good perfumes. 10/10 from Zara.
My honest take: it just arrived and I tested it immediately. The opening is wild—berries and leather, like stepping into a brand-new shoebox. As it dries, the berries fade, leaving the leather with a vanilla base. Imagine frozen berries inside a fresh leather box you open two hours later. Perfect for men around 35. Projection is soft for an hour, lasting 4-5 hours on skin. Hard to wear daily; I’d say it’s best for special occasions where you want to project seriousness, edge, and elegance rather than friendliness.
Unisex blend of Ombré Leather and Ombré Leather Parfum. Violet and iris last throughout the entire wear. Unlike the Ombré Leather, this Zara version skips the cardamomo.
The price is excellent for the fragrance. It’s perfect for formal wear. The only downside is that for the first twenty minutes, it smells like burnt rubber. Once that initial phase passes, it becomes too close to the skin, but the final scent is a top-notch Russian leather.
I own Ombré Leather, and honestly, it smells like me, just with less floral notes and more fruity vibes. People say it resembles Tuscan Leather, but since I haven’t tried that one, I can’t confirm. Truth be told, not being identical doesn’t mean it’s worse; in fact, I love it. Obviously, the quality isn’t the same as Tom Ford’s, but it’s still great.
I own Ombré Leather, and honestly, this one resembles it a lot, though with a slightly less floral and more fruity touch. They say it’s similar to Tuscan Leather, but I haven’t tried it. Sincerely, even though it’s very similar and not 100% identical, that doesn’t mean it’s a worse scent; in fact, I love it. Obviously, the quality isn’t the same as Tom Ford’s.
