Descripción
Guess Seductive Homme Blue by Guess is a woody aquatic fragrance for men. Launched in 2012, this composition was created by perfumer Guillaume Flavigny. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of cardamom, black pepper, citrus, and caviar; a heart of marine notes and geranium; and a base that evokes cashmere wood, sand, and moss.

It’s an improvement over its mother, Guess Seductive. I feel like the notes invade us in a more sublime way, asking permission to enter our sense of smell. Although I tested it on paper, I believe its evolution will be more interesting.
Features marine, citrus, and woody notes.
Well, I was gifted it and had high expectations because Guess by Marciano has a lot of character and intensity. I thought it would be equally potent, but Houston, we have a problem! It doesn’t even reach half, the notes are barely distinguishable. They smell for a bit and then disappear. It’s an aquatic and clean scent, like baby powder, without cardamom or clear citrus, like a very faint scented soap. I don’t recommend it; there are better proposals at this price. If you want to seduce, use another perfume; with this one, you can’t even seduce your shadow.
I get a slight touch of Eros Versace in Guess Blue, though it’s not the same. Strangely, I hate the original Eros and I love Guess Blue. It’s a subtle perfume, between aquatic, citrus, and woods. Longevity on my skin is 4 to 6 hours, moderate sillage at first and then none, only up close.
Fresh opening, very versatile, and at a very comfortable price point.
Quite a fresh opening, very versatile, and at a very comfortable price point.
It’s a pleasant and clean-smelling fragrance (though I don’t see any resemblance to BLV, and I own both). It doesn’t project for me at all for even an hour, though it smells good close to the skin. Very true to its name, it’s ideal when you know you won’t be sleeping alone and want the other person to enjoy being with you and delight in the scent. That said, I agree… for the price, if you expect better projection, it’s not for you.
It’s quite pleasant and clean, though I don’t see much resemblance to the BLV I own. It doesn’t project for me even an hour, but up close it smells great. It’s very good for when you know you won’t be alone and want the other person to enjoy it with you. I agree that, for what it’s worth, if you’re looking for more projection, look elsewhere.
It’s the perfect flanker for Nuit de l’Homme: it shares 80% of the DNA but shifts the vibe from nocturnal and intimate to something daytime-friendly and relaxed. Together, they cover the whole day. If you’re looking for something sweeter and more potent for going out, check out Azarro Most Wanted.
It’s the perfect flanker for La Nuit de l’Homme, as 80% of the scent is identical. The only difference is that it transforms the intimate, nocturnal feel of the original into something daytime-friendly and relaxing, making it the ideal complement to cover any situation of the day. If you’re looking for a sweeter, more potent third option for going out, check out Azarro Most Wanted.
It’s a perfume with a good smell, but the longevity on skin is terrible. At this price, there are much better options.
I picked it up out of curiosity after reading some good reviews. It smells nice, yes, but it’s a powdery, talc-like scent, not very masculine, with citrus and aquatic touches. I see it as useful only for the gym or morning emergencies. Great deal: $25 for 100ml in the USA. Verdict: scent 6.5/10 (simple), sillage 7/10 (one arm), longevity 6.5/10 (6 hours on skin, 2 hours projection). Packaging 6/10 (basic box, quirky but uncomfortable cap). Projection 6/10 (depends on you). Price 9/10. Overall note: 6.8/10, just another generic addition to the collection.
Out of curiosity and blind, I bought this perfume and took a nice surprise. It opens fresh, where you notice citrus, a little pepper, and cardamomo as the guiding thread. Then it becomes sweeter, powdery, or that talcum vibe, but always with cardamomo as the protagonist. It has an air of La Nuit de l’Homme though clearly fresher, carefree, casual. Climate: I’d say autumn and spring. I’d hesitate in cold or extreme heat, though I find it quite versatile. As for occasions: office, casual outings, etc. It’s one of those you put on when you don’t know what to wear. It’s not a blue perfume per se (beyond the bottle and name, lol), but it fulfills a similar function. Longevity is limited: 4 hours, maybe 6 if you apply generously. More than half the performance is on the skin. For the price, it’s highly recommended.
It smells like La Nuit de l’Homme but with a fresher, more marine vibe; both last about the same, around 4 to 5 hours, since the original YSL doesn’t last long either 😅. I’d call this Guess Seductive Blue ‘La Nuit de l’Homme Seductive Blue,’ and anyone would pay more just for the YSL logo 🤔🆗✅
If it’s similar to La Nuit de l’Homme but fresher with marine touches and both last almost the same, since the YSL doesn’t last almost anything; both last a maximum of 4 hours, maybe 5 😅. This Guess Seductive Blue could be called La Nuit de l’Homme Seductive Blue and anyone would pay much more for it just because it’s YSL 🤔🆗✅
Generic fragrance, cheap, flat, I absolutely do not recommend it. Once it runs out, I’ll never buy it again.
I liked this fragrance, I bought it blind: fresh, aquatic, sweet, and citrusy all at once. It’s good for summer or hot days. Good price-quality ratio, I recommend it.
This fragrance was a gift. It smells good, fresh, somewhat marine, and very easy to wear, a youthful and somewhat energetic aroma. Pros: Price, ‘good’ scent, not very unique but sufficiently good for the price. Cons: Longevity and performance, very very weak, lasts only a few hours. I’d use it for the gym, a bit in the morning, and considering the price, I think it’s okay. Maybe I’ll buy it again, but I think for something fresh I’d perhaps choose Happy by Clinique.
A flavorless perfume, it smells like the cheapest wet baby wipes to me, plus terrible performance. They gave it to me and I got rid of it the first chance I got.
I don’t understand why people compare this perfume to La Nuit de l’Homme or Beach Walk, NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM LADIES!!! This is a simple scent, mostly marine. You get what you pay for: poor longevity but a pleasant smell that evokes the beach. I like to use it for hot climates. While it lacks good projection and longevity, it’s something that saves you if you need something economical or are going to the beach. As for what was said before, I don’t understand why it’s compared to others; it’s a different scent.
What can I say? This is what happens when I buy cheap perfumes from Ross instead of looking properly. They had recommended another version of Guess Seductive before that smelled great. Turns out I bought this one, which is totally flavorless. At least it works for taking my dog for a walk.
I’ve been using half of this bottle for over a year and it smells great, but it doesn’t last at all. It reminds me of classic barbershop talcum powder; I once used it for work and someone told me it tickled their nose. It has spaced-out notes; I wish it lasted longer.
I was about to review this very happily until I started reading the comments and it seemed like the perfume had done something to them. In my opinion, it’s just a marine scent. It has the three B’s.
