I’m sure that, technically, this isn’t a typical commercial fragrance. It’s powerful and high-quality, one of the best niche scents I’ve tried. Mar de Ibiza blends Mediterranean breeze with fresh woods, Ibiza pine, and damp herbs. It’s classic and understated, yet innovative and sparkling. It opens with lemon, soft spices, and lots of green freshness. As it settles, the heart becomes woody and spiced, with some cedar in the base and a whisper of greenery at the very end. It’s always been my favorite and the best gift from Ibiza.
I’m a huge fan of this scent. The blend of fresh wood, deep sea, and that aquatic soul makes it perfect for everyday wear. The marine notes make it ideal for hot weather. At the base, there’s white musk, amber, and moss. I love it! It was one of the best gifts from Ibiza, and for me, the best perfume I’ve brought back from there.
This is what I’ve been wearing lately, and it’s super honest: delicate, with a clean air vibe, and smells incredible. It’s warm and sexy all at once. Aquatic, light, with a touch of spice and greenery. I’m hooked; I put it on in the morning and sometimes reapply during the day. It’s my summer perfume of choice, and I absolutely love it.
I know some of the reviews below might be sponsored, but the bottom line is: your sneeze lasts longer than this. Obviously, the only thing this has in common with Acqua di Parma is that it’s literally just water. It’s hands down the worst one, and also the first. It has nothing, literally nothing.
Whether the longevity is good or bad, I own four perfumes from this line that I wear in summer. Mar de Ibiza Essence of Earth feels more feminine and is perfect for evening, while Mar de Ibiza Essence of Sea is more daytime-appropriate, though lighter and with less staying power, which I actually appreciate since I don’t like heavy scents during the day.
