Dinar is a very tamed oriental, nothing wild or rough. It’s a bit sweet and highly spiced. I liked it, and for the price, I have no complaints. It starts effervescent, camphoraceous, leathery, and spicy; it gives a leather sensation but feels quite astringent and rough due to the spices. I’ve seen that in other Arab perfumes before and it didn’t convince me, but it doesn’t last long. Then the woody note emerges with more intensity and sweetness—not sugary, but a pleasant, slight fruity sweetness. That part is the most long-lasting and stays almost the same until the end. Dinar seems powerful, but it isn’t; it’s soft and ethereal, nothing intrusive. I sense it as a fresh version of Arabi Cana by Kolmaz. They share a similar vibe, but each leads to different characters to create distinct scents. Dinar is spicier and more ethereal, intimate and inoffensive. It lasts about 9 hours with moderate projection: noticeable at first, then fades to a personal scent. I’ve smelled it well on myself even with a cold, so don’t get too hung up on the projection, but try it for yourself. For the price, you lose nothing. With its transparent soul, it’s perfect for any season and day or night. I really liked that. Just to say, despite what I’ve written, it’s NOT for everyone. You need to like powerful woods, leather, and have an open mind.

Didn’t get me. Not a total failure, just not for me. To cut to the chase without the jargon: it smells like those starch sprays we use for ironing clothes. If you have a bottle of starch at home, sniffing it is the definitive test for this perfume. I guess the cedar, musk, and jasmine blend is what gives it that freshly ironed laundry vibe. It’s unisex, perfect for spring or summer, with decent longevity and projection. At €15 for 100ml, it’s a steal, but as the other reviewer said, it’s not for everyone, and in my case, it wasn’t my cup of tea.
