Artisan’s Tuscan Leather is a total hit. The raspberry shines brighter, and the leather feels much more polished. They’ve added a finer, more wearable touch. It smells amazing, especially since I love the original and I’m not a fan of copies from niche brands.

I didn’t know about this perfume until a sales associate at a Julia store in Andorra recommended it as a new arrival from l’Artisan. What a surprise: until now, I only knew their fresh and clean fragrances, so I didn’t imagine they had this oriental, dark line. It’s quite simple, with a juicy raspberry opening that reminds me of cherry and a soft leather. Over time, the leather gains strength and smells very similar to Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather, but softer. It’s all built on an ambroxan base. It brings me memories of Diptyque’s Eau Rihla (but with less rough leather) and Maison Crivelli’s Cuir Infrarouge (more refined, with juicier, jam-like raspberry). They’re not identical, but they definitely ring a bell. In that category, I’d stick with Crivelli. I see it as totally unisex: spectacular on both men and women. Scent: 8.5 – Versatility: 8

This is Artisan’s Tuscan Leather. It follows the same line, but the raspberry in the opening is very pronounced, projects a lot, and is sweet and fruity. As it dries down, it gets closer to the classic Tuscan DNA, but with more quality and refinement typical of the house, and without that Arab note found in some inspirations.
