I absolutely loved this perfume. I picked it up at a good price along with another from the brand and have no regrets. It’s very masculine and classic; to me, it smells like a pine forest and the countryside, like fresh wet wood and nature—a super fresh, balsamic sensation with a very subtle sweet undertone. At first, it smells of juniper with very faint citrus and spicy notes, then the juniper lingers as lavender, eucalyptus (giving that balsamic touch), sage, and a tiny bit of sweetness, possibly anise, join in. Later, the woods emerge, highlighted by a musky patchouli with that slight sweet note I mentioned, but very in the background. It’s not a sweet perfume; it’s green, woody, and masculine. The only downside is the longevity: even though it’s an eau de parfum, it lasts very little, about four hours; if you press your nose close, it might linger a bit more, but it doesn’t matter to me. The trail is almost skin-scent from the start, which is a shame since the scent is so good. It’s very usable any day or time, especially given its low performance and light sillage. Recommended for those who like classic fragrances and don’t need powerful perfumes.
I absolutely loved this perfume. I bought it at a good price along with another from the same brand and have no regrets. It’s very masculine and classic; to me, it smells like a pine forest and the countryside, evoking fresh wet wood, nature, and pure air. It’s a fresh, balsamic sensation with a very subtle sweet undertone. At first, I notice the juniper with faint citrus and spicy notes, then the juniper dominates, blending with lavender and eucalyptus for that balsamic touch, plus sage and a hint of sweetness, perhaps anise. Later, the woods emerge, highlighted by a musky patchouli with that slight sweet note I mentioned, but very in the background. It’s not a sweet perfume; it’s green, woody, and masculine. The only downside is the longevity: even though it’s an eau de parfum, it lasts about four hours; if you press your nose close, it might linger a bit more, but it doesn’t matter to me. The trail is almost skin-scent from the start, which is a shame since it smells so great. It’s usable any day or time, especially given its low performance and light sillage. I recommend it to those who enjoy classic fragrances and don’t need powerhouse scents.
The anise, eucalyptus, and woody notes are very prominent, with the floral elements barely present. The opening is balsamic and pleasant, but I wish it lasted longer. It sits halfway between classic and modern; the scent itself is correct, though the trail and longevity are just okay, as Darkbeat mentioned when he sent me the sample. The price seems fair and it could be a great option for spring and summer. It’s a delicate fragrance with a comforting field-like aroma; if you close your eyes and smell your wrist, you’ll feel immersed in nature by a stream.
