Perfect for going to work; it’s not overpowering. The rose is done really well, just like it usually is in Chloe, and it’s not artificial at all (unlike the one in Valentino, which is very artificial). The raspberry note takes away some of the seriousness, and the cashmere makes it cozy. I was pleasantly surprised.
A mature rose surrounded by dusty woods, cashmere, and that sweet hint of raspberry. It’s a pleasant, balanced, and warm fragrance, less sharp than the original, though not distinctive enough for my collection. I think it will appeal to rose lovers looking for something elegant but not overly formal, perfect for everyday wear in the workplace, preferably in cooler weather. It has moderate sillage and excellent longevity—over 10 hours on skin and even better on clothes, with a fairly linear development. Scent: 6/10, Longevity: 10/10, Sillage: 7.5/10, Value: 5/10, Versatility: 6.5/10, Packaging: 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t end up purchasing it.
I own the original Chloe and love it; this version is similar but with that raspberry twist (to me, it smells like cherry, which isn’t my favorite). 2024 is full of cherries and raspberries, and this one feels unoriginal and uninspired. On my skin, it doesn’t last long; I get a weak rose with a hint of cherry. The only good thing is that it feels dry, not cloying. I sprayed it on blotting paper and got no scent at all, which is weird, haha. I wouldn’t buy it.
It’s the classic Chloe rose with a fun twist—sweeter and more carefree at first due to that fruity note. As it dries down, it becomes much more delicate and silky. It’s a feminine, versatile fragrance with excellent performance. For someone like me who can’t stand the original, the fact that I liked this is already an achievement, though not enough to add it to my collection. Still, it’s an option to keep in mind for a future gift.
Hey, honestly, this has nothing to do with the original and it’s pretty unpleasant. It smells like rotting wood and a damp attic, a bitter and potent note I won’t be seeking out again. It fades away quickly, leaving nothing behind, as if you’d just cleaned dust and mold off an old bookshelf.
