Starts with a sweet floral note like orange blossom and evolves into a dense scent that settles into frankincense, always with the flower and black pepper; I don’t detect as much cinnamon as in other oriental fragrances. The dry down is distinctly woody. Despite having few listed notes, it’s more complex and opens up beautifully; initially, it’s an ultra-dense bomb that gradually softens. It has incredible longevity and a powerful sillage that can be overwhelming in enclosed spaces. I’d wear this regardless of age, but it’s perfect for special occasions like weddings or elegant dinners. Some say it smells like One Million, but I disagree: this lacks that minty touch and carries a distinct elegance.
