  I absolutely love this fragrance: a dark, velvety rose that’s deep and incredibly sensual. It’s not a typical floral rose; the cinnamon and ginger give it a darker edge. It’s concentrated to the degree of a parfum and highly recommended. With 4 sprays, it’s perfect for daytime; max 6 for evening; and 8 for all night in crowded places. I admit, the purity and concentration of this parfum feels like applying rose oil to your skin. I rated it a solid 10/10.

  I was completely surprised by CH’s Private Collection during a layover in São Paulo; I never really cared about them before, but I absolutely loved it. I got overwhelmed testing everything in the freeshop with those rare perfumes that don’t even make it to Argentina, until I sprayed one on my arm and just couldn’t let go. When I returned and passed by again, I knew it was BURNING ROSE. What a beauty! If you love roses like I do, you’ll adore this. It’s the star: dark, velvety, sweet, and spicy roses. You can definitely taste the cinnamon and ginger adding sweetness and heat to this mature, sophisticated rose. I swear it smelled of cardamom and amber, even though they aren’t listed. It’s enveloping, captivated me at first sniff, and what I love most is the dry-down. You have to try it if you’re a rose lover. It’s unisex, though it leans slightly feminine.
