Best blend I could have hoped for. While I need to wear it more to be sure, my first impression of this house is top-notch. Beyond personal taste, the development is incredible. It smells simple and direct but achieves a lot with very little. It opens bright, fresh, and reviving, staying in the background for the entire mid-stage, though it quickly steps back from the spotlight to make room for a very well-crafted amber-resinous woody dry down. I don’t detect much oud; it’s not the oud I expected, but rather a woody base where the resin rests. The longevity and projection are worthy of an Arabic niche house.
