I love it. It’s citrusy, mandarin, and cardamomo, very natural with a well-crafted structure that really shows. It’s elegant and relaxing, perfect for these Saharan heat days: a shower, a few sprays of Solis, and enjoy life. Medium longevity and shy projection after the first hour, staying close to the skin, but the scent is delicious and beautiful. The brand is absolutely underrated; I have other fragrances and they are magnificent. Worth it if you’re hesitating.
It turned out to be super evocative for a reason: my grandmother’s remedy. It involved caramelizing sugar and squeezing an orange right before giving it to us (she’d also add a sprig of rosemary). This Aqua Solis smells exactly like that with a pleasant earthy touch (I agree with Mr. Félix on the slice of flambéed sugar found in certain cocktails). I don’t consider it that fresh (especially compared to Aqua Mystery), with a 6-hour longevity on my skin and quite decent projection for a cologne with natural botanical ingredients (8/10).
It’s a good cologne for what it is. I detect a sugary note with lots of orange; perfect for sunny afternoons in spring and summer. By the way, I own other products from the brand and they are top quality.
