Desert Fire by Day Three is a woody spicy fragrance for women and men. Released in 2026, it was created by perfumer Michael Paul.
It opens with shiso — purple mint — and pink pepper, green, aromatic and fresh-spicy in feel, leading into a heart of incense, myrrh, palo santo and spices.
The top pairs the herbal lift of shiso with the bright bite of pink pepper. The effect is crisp rather than sweet, setting a dry, spicy tone with a clear green edge.
The heart turns resinous and warm-spicy: dry incense smoke, balsamic myrrh, the distinctive woody character of palo santo, rounded out with spices. Amber and balsam facets come through here.
The base settles on leather, resins, woody notes and cypriol — nagarmotha —. Leather gives structure, resins extend the balm, while woods and earthy, root-like cypriol carry the spice forward.
