Alone in Babylon: Tuberose Gone Smoky, Animalic and Dark

Alone in Babylon by Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 is a Floral fragrance for Men and Women. Launched in 2026 as a new release, it frames Babylon as a place of splendor and solitude.

Up top, tuberose meets nail polish, petroleum and plantain. The rich white flower is cut by a lacquered, smoky edge with a soft tropical sweetness underneath.

The opening is the boldest clash. Tuberose feels fleshy, creamy and almost buttery, while nail polish adds a sharp synthetic shine. Petroleum brings a dark smoky vapor, and plantain rounds it with a starchy, mellow sweetness.

In the heart, castoreum takes over with warm animalic leather, somewhere between fur and skin. Mysore sandalwood adds a creamy woody softness, and Floralozone keeps a sheer ozonic floral light inside the thickness.

The base rests on leather, tonka bean, musk and vanilla. Here the leather turns polished and cozy, wrapped in tonka and vanilla sweetness, while musk lays a powdery, cotton-like veil on skin.

Overall it reads as leather, tuberose and animalic, backed by vanilla, white floral, smoky, musky, woody, sweet and powdery facets. This is not a bright floral; it is a floral that gets smudged, smoked and close to the skin.

Worn as a unisex scent, it balances the feminine side of tuberose with the tougher character of leather and petroleum. It is a statement wear that rewards patience, moving from chemical gloss to a warm sweet drydown.

It will appeal to fans of dense white florals with an animalic leather twist, dark vanilla and powdery musk, and to collectors who enjoy the high-contrast style of Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777.

Alone in Babylon turns Babylon into a night garden of tuberose, petroleum and leather melting into vanilla and musk. Opulent and focused, it pushes a white floral to its favorite dark edge.
