The opening is a brisk combination of black pepper, violet leaves, and galbanum, delivering a fresh, green spiciness that sets the tone. Lavender and yerba mate add an aromatic, slightly herbal touch, giving the top notes extra dimension.
At the heart, tobacco and fig intertwine with champaca and lotus flower, creating a sweet yet earthy contrast. Blackberry brings a fruity edge that balances the warmth of spices, while clove reinforces the cozy, aromatic character.
The base is anchored by Cambodian oud and oud wood, supported by cypriol, vetiver, tonka bean, and incense. This resinous, woody foundation gives the fragrance its deep and enveloping presence.

Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
In my small collection, I’ve only had three “green” ouds: Oud Taiwan, Oud Kinam, and Ouddicts Anonymous. The first is a green monster: smoke, fire, tire, oil, vegetables. The second is a bit more refined/domesticated, since it’s a spicy composition with vanilla-like notes, citrus, a little coffee here and tobacco there. Ouddicts is, for me, the midpoint of the other two. In its opening, it’s an explosion of notes like damp herbs, a field or jungle in the morning, when the breeze is still there. But in the background, throughout the whole composition, you feel a very smoky note, as if you’d been in front of a campfire and the smoke soaked into you. Surely this note is also accentuated by the violet leaf. When I wear it, the next day in the shower I notice the smoke coming out of me. Apart from that, I’d be lying if I said I could identify all the listed notes. The only thing I do detect are some “bright” notes, surely from cypriol, but also from the blackberry and the rest of the fruits it says it has. And of course the oud, which isn’t at all cheesy, but rather a good-quality woody base that gives depth and a touch of the distinctive Ensar Oud. It lasts quite well and projects very well too. I don’t see it with a suit, but for a casual bar outing, a countryside trip, watching a soccer game, or any event where that “gasoline-like” touch of the perfume highlights a carefree yet enjoyable character. I’d put it fairly close to what Oud Man and The Sea gives you, mainly because of the drydown.
