Pure iris bomb. It’s iris, more iris, and a coffee that blends spectacularly. Forget Prada’s soapy iris or Dior’s lipstick-like version; this is earthy, like smelling the lily root directly. Perfect for autumn or winter: dry but with a subtle touch of vanilla and coffee. Projects heavily at first, then settles into a close bubble. Longevity and projection are just right (8 hours)—you can feel it without it being annoying. Unique as few are, hard to pair with anything else. The definitive iris perfume, unlike anything from Dior Homme or Givenchy. Pure niche scent.
The definitive iris: elegant, challenging, and 100% niche. It was my first Solonoi fragrance, and although iris dominates from start to finish, it’s not just any iris; it’s supremely sophisticated. What makes it unique is that blend of elegance and rebellion. Honestly, there’s nothing like it. I have several ‘heavy hitters’ with this note in my collection (like Dior Homme Intense or Parfum), but Overdose stands out differently. You can tell from miles away it’s a niche scent with its own identity and depth. In terms of performance, it’s a beast: on my skin, it lasts a solid 7 hours, and the trail stays strong and noticeable. Summary: if you like iris, it’s an essential option that absolutely must be in your collection.
Iris bomb. It’s an iris fragrance, with more iris and a bit of coffee that blends spectacularly. Don’t confuse it with Dior’s lipstick-like iris or Prada’s soapy version; this is earthy, like smelling the lily root directly. It’s the typical autumn or winter perfume: dry but slightly sweetened by vanilla and coffee. Very projecting at the start, then settles into a close bubble. It has just enough projection and longevity to be felt without being annoying (8 hours). Unfortunately, like many Solonoi scents, it can’t be compared to anything because they are unique; this is one of them. You could say it’s their iris perfume, just as Dior has Homme Intense, but it resembles nothing else. Truly a niche scent.
The definitive iris: elegant, challenging, and 100% niche. It was my first Solonoi. Iris dominates from start to finish, but it’s a supremely elegant iris. Unique for being both elegant and challenging. There’s nothing like it. Even though I have heavy hitters with this note like Dior Homme Intense or Parfum, Overdose stands out differently. You can tell from a distance it’s niche, with its own identity and depth. Excellent performance: solid 7 hours on skin with a strong, noticeable trail. If you like iris, it’s a must-have in your collection.
One of the most praised scents in my collection. It’s noticeable and lasts well on the skin. A perfectly crafted iris, totally different from the rest.
Solonoi stands out for creating perfumes that unite the best of perfumery: they are niche yet appealing to everyone. Particularly, Overdose is the perfect expression of a house: a distinctive, elegant scent with an exquisite iris, like in very few fragrances.
Love at first sniff, which is hard to achieve. A scent that asks for forgiveness before permission: an overdose of iris. Balanced and distinct from commercial iris like Dior Homme or Givenchy. It accompanies you all day and part of the night, projecting on its own. Its only weak point is that it might not be as versatile as other Solonoi fragrances, but that doesn’t take away from its merit.
Solonoi makes niche perfumes that everyone loves. Overdose is the perfect signature: distinctive, elegant, and featuring an exquisite iris, hard to find in so few fragrances.
One of the most praised scents in my collection. It makes an impression and has good longevity on the skin. A very well-crafted iris, distinct from the rest.
Love at first sniff, which is generally hard to achieve. A scent that asks for forgiveness before permission, and as the name suggests: an overdose of iris. A well-executed and balanced fragrance, definitely an iris distinct from the commercial kind (like Dior Homme or Givenchy Gentleman). It accompanies you all day and part of the night, projecting on its own. Perhaps its only downside is that it’s not as versatile as other Solonoi scents, but that doesn’t diminish its merit.
