Selene
Elegant and refined perfume, exactly what you’d expect from Tiffany. A exquisite blend of rose, plum, and jasmine over a sweet amber base with sandalwood and cedar in the dry down. It carries influences from its older sister, the classic 80s scent—both are amber, floral, and woody—but here it’s the blackcurrant and pineapple, along with that powdery, animalic touch from the other, that make the difference. It reminds me more of Ralph Lauren’s Safari, though that one smells greener with galbanum and calendula, although they might share something in common as they dry down. Yes, it leans closer to Elizabeth Taylor’s Diamonds and Rubies. It’s a fantastic fragrance, surrounded by fruity and floral notes with just a hint of woodiness in the dry down, achieving incredible style and refinement. The EDP has moderate sillage and good longevity: it’s full-bodied, aromatic, delicate, and interesting. I love it!
