Hmmm, it caught me off guard; in fact, I absolutely love it. Right after spraying, it smells like gasoline, of course, along with leather and something smoky vegetal. It’s true it’s designed to give you that gasoline vibe, but it doesn’t smell synthetic or industrial like real gas; over time it evolves into smoke and asphalt. I couldn’t help but think of Nuvolari, but I almost prefer this Fuel (even though the other is great) because I feel it captures that feeling and scent better than Nuvolari, which leans more aldehydic/floral to me. It’s very well blended and doesn’t feel excessive. Maybe it’s tough for everyday wear or as a signature, but it’s one of those that stands out from the crowd and gives me the vibe of perfumes like Duro (especially) but smokier, or Baraonda—perfect for cold afternoons or nights; just two or three sprays and you’re ready. I love this kind of scent, I love this FUEL, thumbs up.
