Today I picked up some medicine for my dear friend’s cat, Chilean collector and enthusiast Alvaro Palma from La Casa Del Perfume and host of the podcast Los Leones Sin Melena in Chile 🇨🇱. We stopped by a neighborhood pharmacy and stumbled upon several vintage perfumes, including this wonderful Rebel by James Dean, the luxury version with its metal box that even included a replica of the actor’s iconic sunglasses—a true symbol of cinema and rebellion. I just couldn’t resist leaving a humble review here. James Dean, you couldn’t possibly have a perfume that isn’t a winner: masculine, sensual, a nighttime seducer that opens with a prominent green bergamot, blended with an acidic, juicy pink grapefruit and a touch of black pepper that adds depth. If you find it, buy it; you won’t regret it. Excellent presentation, a cult piece for any collection. Longevity: 6 hours. Purchase value: $20 (discontinued).
