I picked this up on sale and based on the good reviews. At first, it smelled weird to me—like oxidized jasmine—but as I kept wearing it, I noticed it changes: the dry down is citrus with white flowers, though it just doesn’t have the quality I expected. It’s the same issue I have with Dulce Aroma; there’s a note that just doesn’t sit right on my skin, and that’s what kills it for me. Great for daytime wear, especially in summer. I tested it against Jadore, and due to that strange note I can’t quite identify, I don’t see them as similar at all.
I bought this blind thinking it would be like Jadore, but honestly, I don’t even remember why I thought that—maybe if I hadn’t read this beforehand. It’s not sophisticated by any means, nor is it ugly, and it’s not bad for everyday use, although it lasts a maximum of two hours. Of the notes, I only detect white flowers and amber, because afterwards the dry down is clearly passion fruit and peach before giving way to the flowers. Would I recommend it? Only if you’re looking for something cheap for daytime that’s fruity but not sweet.
I don’t know if it’s my pH or what, but I absolutely hate it. In the opening, I get a distinct smell of cat pee. Once it dries down, that scent disappears and it becomes somewhat similar to Dior’s J’adore, but not really, since it has a subtle liquor note. Since I don’t like J’adore at all, this one, which resembles it and also has that cat pee smell in the opening, is even worse. Clearly, I will never buy this again.
