I love this perfume; it smells very similar to La Vie est Belle, featuring caramel notes instead of praline, a very present iris, and red berries. In the dry down, I notice a hint of incense. It’s very sweet, the bottle is gorgeous, and it lasts all day. If you overapply, it becomes overwhelming and you can smell it from meters away.
It was a gift from my brother and it’s still quite full. It’s incredibly potent with amazing longevity on my skin. Lots of patchouli and iris flower, two notes that stand out too much on my skin and leave me smelling like an older woman. While it is very sweet with powerful vanilla and a well-presented caramel, just the patchouli and iris end up ruining the experience for me. It’s not a bad perfume at all, but it’s not my type. It’s true that it’s very similar to La Vie est Belle. Unfortunately, it’s not a perfume I would enjoy or buy for myself, haha. Still, I adored that my brother gave me a perfume. What a great gift after all!
My brother gave this to me and it’s still full. It smells incredibly potent and lasts a long time on my skin. There’s a lot of patchouli and iris flower, which are too prominent on my skin and make me smell like an older woman. Although it’s very sweet with powerful vanilla and noticeable caramel, the patchouli and iris end up ruining the experience for me. It’s not a bad perfume, but it’s not my style. It’s true that it smells just like La Vie est Belle, but unfortunately, it’s not something I would buy for myself, haha. Still, I adored the gift from my brother; it was a nice surprise after all.
I bought this because people said it was similar to LVEB. I sense a similarity, but mostly in the dry down, although the sweetness of the two is different. As a first impression, I detect more of the caramel in the style of Orissima Divine by Ted Lapidus. I need to test the resemblance again (I’ll edit this review later). This perfume from Paris Elysees has a sweet citrus opening that dries down quickly. Then, the caramel comes out with the vanilla and red berries. It’s a very pleasant and rich aroma, sweet but not overwhelming. It lasts quite a while and has good sillage. I consider it a perfume that pairs well with cooler temperatures because it gives a sense of warmth, both day and night. It’s quite adaptable. I recommend it for the price-to-quality ratio. Even in my country, it’s quite affordable. I thought it was an EDP, but it’s an Eau de Toilette. It lasted about 10 hours, which pleasantly surprised me. I’ll keep trying perfumes from this house.
I bought this because of the reputation that it smells like LVEB. Once it dries down, the similarity is noticeable, though the sweetness is different; at first, it smells more like the caramel style of Orissima Divine by Ted Lapidus. I’ll test it again to confirm the resemblance. From Paris Elysees, it has a sweet citrus opening that dries down quickly, followed by caramel, vanilla, and red berries. It smells rich and sweet without being overwhelming. It lasts quite a while and has good sillage. It works great with cooler weather because it adds warmth, day or night, making it very versatile. I recommend it for the price and quality; it’s easily accessible here. I thought it was an EDP, but it’s an Eau de Toilette and it lasted about 10 hours, which surprised me. I’ll keep exploring perfumes from this house.
