I bought Le Bubbly with high hopes, imagining its scent would be very different from the original VLJ, but it wasn’t. Basically, a blind buy. I was disappointed 😞. It smells identical to the original; I think the ingredients aren’t what they claim. The bottle is beautiful, though, haha.
You add a much-needed champagne note to the original and get the wonder that is Le Bubbly. Forget the Viva La Juicy original; they should focus all their attention on this one.
In my humble opinion, all the Viva La Juicy flankers are identical, or it’s the same liquid in different packaging, and this is no exception. It smells like the original, just with a bubbly, slightly bitter top note for 5 minutes, then it’s the same as the rest. Longevity is terrible, like the others (around 4 hours), but the bottle is collection-worthy, a real beauty. Would I recommend it? Only if you don’t own any other VLJ fragrances.
I was gifted this, and it’s too expensive for its performance (almost zero longevity). There’s no trail; you only notice it if someone hugs you. If you’re looking for projection and lasting power, this isn’t for you. It’s very soft, but it smells nice. I detect something that could be freesia and orchid in the notes. It’s a fresh scent.
Viva La Juicy Le Bubbly is almost identical to the original, but with a more effervescent and fruity twist. It feels sparkling, like a fruit soda, giving off a fresh and fun vibe. Nothing cloying or heavy. The downside is the longevity and sillage, which I feel are weaker than the original. On the plus side, the bottle is gorgeous, as is typical for Juicy Couture.
