Have you worn United Dreams Love Yourself?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. Unicornia

The most spring-like scent in the line. It bursts out with raspberry notes and gives a slight tingle on the skin that adds a spark, even though it doesn’t actually contain pepper. Feels super cheerful.

  2. Youthful, feminine, and sweet. Smells amazing, fresh and sugary, perfect for gifting. If it lasted longer and projected better, it would be my signature scent. But I have to reapply it every two hours to keep smelling it, which is a shame for such a lovely fragrance.

  4. Toga Carola

On my skin, it smells like sweet, powdery rose. I sense a certain kinship with Tresor Midnight Rose, but in Love Yourself, the rose stands out more than the raspberry, whereas in Tresor Midnight Rose it’s the opposite. Unlike other reviews, I don’t feel it’s very summery or fresh; rather, it’s more spring-like for moderate climates, neither very hot nor very cold. If you’re looking for something sweet and powdery, it’s a good option and a versatile gift because it’s so pleasant.

On the skin, it smells like sweet, powdery rose. It’s similar to Tresor Midnight Rose, but here the rose takes the lead, whereas in the other it’s the raspberry. It’s not as summery or fresh; it’s more of a spring scent for mild weather. If you’re looking for something sweet and powdery, it’s a great all-rounder for gifts.

Very youthful, radiating innocence and tenderness. Rose with raspberry takes the lead. It’s a bit flat, but I like it and it reminds me of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet.

I’ve had this for a year and a half. At first, I used it a lot for work—I bought it in spring—but I slowly stopped wearing it. It’s almost empty. The opening is exquisite; on the skin, flowers and a bit of blackcurrant dominate. It’s a floral and sweet explosion that quickly settles into a soft skin scent without a strong trail. Over time, it smells like sweet flowers mixed with sandalwood, very subtle. If you spray it on clothes, it lasts longer. It’s cute for 37-degree days to feel ‘clean’ because of that soapy touch. I wear it in the heat or after a shower at night to relax without feeling suffocated. The longevity is a maximum of 4 or 5 hours, very skin-close. It’s a rich gourmand floral, but the strong opening can be dizzying. I wouldn’t buy it again; it lasts a breath for what it smells like.

Super youthful and rich fragrance. You can taste the sweet raspberry and the very subtle jasmine, well-balanced. It’s ideal for summer, perfect for a hot afternoon. It’s reasonably priced, doesn’t last long on the skin, but if you hydrate beforehand, it helps. On other skin types, it lasts up to 4 hours. On clothes, it lasts a long time. I recommend it; I’ve heard it’s similar to Miss Dior.

Pleasant, floral, fresh, and musky (I don’t detect the fruit on my skin). It’s a casual, everyday perfume, perfect for a fresh face and pulled-back hair. The performance is weak, but it matches the price.

I was looking for perfumes on my shelf and saw a pink box I thought was empty. When I opened it, there it was! I sprayed a little and it gave me a headache because it was so strong. I didn’t smell the pear, bergamot, or blackcurrant—notes that are well-developed and not invasive in other perfumes like YSL Glowing or Fantasy. This scent is very serious and elegant, too much for a young girl like me who prefers something sparkly. Between this rose and another in the line in gold, I’d choose the gold one a thousand times. It’s very strong; the trail on the skin is potent. It shamelessly reminds me of Mademoiselle L’eau and Emblem by Montblanc, perfumes I no longer use and hope to swap for something sweeter. I think this will stay archived or I’ll gift it to someone who likes it. Beautiful perfume, but very strong and serious.

I like it quite a bit, but if I use too much, it gives me a feeling of heavy powder (I think it’s something personal, but I recommend testing it on skin), so don’t overdo the amount. For me, it lasts about 4 to 5 hours, but on clothes it can last until the next day.

  13. My sister gifted me this perfume, and honestly, I had my biases against it; at first glance, it didn’t grab my attention, but the moment I smelled it, I was hooked, and I’ve grown to love it even more. I use it daily for work and have received plenty of compliments. It’s definitely a 3B perfume: good, beautiful, and affordable.

  14. I went to the store looking for a brand I’d tried before but didn’t catch the name in my rush. I thought this was it, but it isn’t. It’s sweet yet fresh, not fruity, but powdery; it smells better as it develops, though it doesn’t really fascinate me. I wouldn’t buy it; it’s a fairly normal scent, even generic, like soap or lotion. If you want to smell good without standing out (or being remembered, even by yourself), this is for you.

Sorry, it smells very much like Burberry Body, just much, much cheaper.

I bought it recently as a summer rose-scented perfume. It meets the premise: at first, it smells very much like rose, then pear and bergamot. The downside is that it doesn’t last long, even though my skin’s pH usually makes all fragrances linger longer.

I like it quite a bit. This type of perfume is what I use daily so I don’t have to spend on high-end ones. It’s a fresh, sweet, and youthful aroma. The packaging color represents it perfectly. Although I don’t assign an age to perfumes, it’s inevitable: when I wear it, I think of a 17-18-year-old girl just out of school. I generally wear it in the heat, but it works on cool days too. It has one flaw: it doesn’t last more than 4 hours on my skin; it lasts longer on clothes, but on my skin, it fades away without a trace.

This pink one smells the best. But unfortunately, it doesn’t have good longevity. I tried it on at the perfumery today, and they applied it to my skin. I’ve had it on for less than 2 hours, and it’s almost gone… I won’t be buying it.

  19. Hi! I loved these little Benetton perfumes. It smells delicious, delicate, so floral and fruity, perfect for this upcoming hot season. I’ve found a winner, and the best part is that it’s at an accessible price.

I tried it today at a supermarket and liked it quite a bit (it was the only one of the three I sampled). It seems like a feminine, soft scent… I can distinguish the pear and raspberry. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long, but there are more expensive perfumes that last even less. I think it’s a great fragrance for everyday use, with excellent value for money (12.90 euros for 80 ml + 100 ml body lotion).

It’s the richest in the line, soft, fresh, and a little sweet. Ideal for hot days. On my skin, it lasts 6 hours, and the trail, though soft, is noticeable for about 2 hours. It lasts all day on hair. Raspberry and amber stand out. I could also distinguish a bit of freesia and pear.

This is the richest one in the line: soft, fresh, and slightly sweet. Perfect for hot days. On my skin, it lasts about 6 hours, and the trail, though subtle, is noticeable for another 2 hours. It lasts all day on hair. Raspberry and amber stand out, and you can also catch hints of freesia and pear.

It’s the only Benetton United Dreams perfume in the line I liked. They gave me a sample on a paper strip, and I hated it then, but today I gave it a second chance and liked it. I mainly sense its fruity notes, especially the raspberry. I think I would buy it.
