  This is a gem, but it could use a bit more staying power. Despite that, it smells fantastic: it starts super citrusy and that ginger note is on another level. Once it settles, it smells very much like Jean Patou’s Ultra Male.

  It’s a really good fragrance, it just lacks a bit of longevity, but that doesn’t stop it from being top-tier. The opening is super citrusy and that touch of ginger is phenomenal. As it dries down, it smells a lot like Jean Paul Gaultier’s Ultra Male.

  I’ve had this for over 20 years; it came with a cream. While cleaning out old things last year, I found it, and what a lovely scent. I bought it cheap back then and it truly has magic. It smells like almond, the ginger gives it a spark of freshness and a kick that I think is pepper (though the label says paprika and I don’t notice it). The vetiver makes it vintage but very wearable. It reminds me of Polo Sport, Antonio Banderas’ Mediterranean, or Avon’s Life—the one they gifted me that I used for a couple of days.

It’s magical: it’s candied, the ginger adds a spark of freshness and a kick that I think is pepper (though they say it’s paprika, I don’t notice it), and the vetiver gives it a vintage vibe that’s still very wearable. It reminds me of Polo Sport, Antonio Banderas’ Mediterranean, or Avon’s Life—the one they gave me that I used for two days before returning it.
