  Smells good and relaxing. These are L’Occitane’s ‘parfums souffles’ meant to be worn alone or with the rose scent. Blue is my favorite: chamomile with a hint of lavender, and after a few seconds, a touch of rose. On my Bandola skin, something weird happened—I don’t know if it’s my pH—but within minutes, it reminded me of Jesús del Pozo’s Halloween, even though the website says they don’t share notes. Longevity and sillage are very weak, almost bad. Since it smells like Halloween on my skin, I’d buy that one instead because it has better projection, sillage, and price. Try it before buying; if it happens to you like it did to me and you like it, go for the Halloween.

  I love them. Their original Rose is one of my favorites, and this one hasn’t let me down either. The chamomile and lavender notes are top-notch: nothing aggressive, quite the opposite. As the name suggests, ‘Souffle Apaisant’ smells like a spa and total calm. It has a watery touch like Cool Water, but since I use Gucci Memoire so much, what I actually notice is pure chamomile. In fact, I’ve worn them together and it was a great success. I like the bottle more than the original, though the 3-4 hour longevity is a disaster. I wish they lasted all day.
