BRUTAL, brutal, brutal. An exquisite perfume that’s easy to understand and wear, yet it takes you to another olfactory level. For those who can’t stand dirty oud, Dara Caro brings all the mystery and darkness of oud without the animalic and unpleasant notes. A blend of coffee, dark oud wood, and a sweet touch that balances everything. As the website says: A MASTERPIECE. EDITED 12-Dec-2024: It’s already one of my favorites. The development is interesting and noticeable. It lasts over 10 hours, projects strongly for the first 3 hours, then fades gradually by the fourth. For me, a 9.5/10: it has power, a unique scent, and great quality.
This is my favorite from the brand. The opening is intense coffee; I love it because it smells like freshly ground coffee, and then the oud supports it. The oud in Dara Caro, at least in this line, is perfect for those who aren’t oud lovers because they’ve removed the rancid or smelly aspects, leaving only the dark, smoky woodiness. I prefer dirtier oud, but I have to say that here it complements the coffee very well. On my skin, it lasts over 10 hours, though the projection is limited to about 4 hours. If you wear it on clothes, it lasts for weeks.
