Clear Eyes, I think you got the wrong perfume. I don’t see labdanum, fig, cypress, or juniper, so I don’t understand why you define it as medicinal. It’s powdery from the iris and lily root, sweet from sugarcane. The incense stands out, along with the patchouli/sandalwood combo that gives it great opulence. It’s not feminine at all; it’s very unisex, to be worn from fall to spring. A delight. This house promises.
Nuit Sucrée is a caress, a second skin of the highest quality: powdery, soft, enveloping, sweet, with a spicy touch and a dry-down of incense that is enchanting. I’m already addicted and loyal to it. My skin blends with the scent like a glove. It’s elegant, sensual, and sophisticated, super versatile. I’ve been wearing it daily since I got it. Clean and comforting, with good sillage and very long-lasting. It has body but is airy, nothing heavy or invasive. Perfect for unisex. Great perfume and house. Don’t miss their other fragrance, Rose d’Hiver. Both are ideal as a signature scent or for special occasions due to their elegance. Ingredients, creativity, and singularity are excellent at a competitive price that puts quality on high.
Powdery and balsamic perfume with cypress, juniper, and fig leaves. Labdanum and incense are also noticeable. I don’t find it feminine. It’s an extravagant contrast: powdery and contemporary green at the same time. Its scent is medicinal. If you need a hug, this is the perfume. It transports you to another era.
Both of Manuel’s new releases under Ylusia have completely won me over. What I appreciate most is that a young creator dares to launch such bold fragrances, yet there’s a paradox: their cut is classic and elegant with a modern touch. This makes me see Ylusia as a distinguished brand and Manuel as faithful to his essence, ignoring marketing trends. Nuit Sucrée is delicate, clean, and sweet without being gourmand; the iris, orris, heliotrope, and sugar gradually wrap around in vanilla and light incense. It has great projection and lasts over 12 hours on my skin. Both, along with Rose d’Hiver, share that velvety air that endures. Although I would take both, this is the first for my collection: absolutely exquisite. Scent 9/10 Longevity 10/10 Projection 9.5/10 Value 8/10 Versatility 8/10 Packaging 6.5/10 Would I buy again? Haven’t bought it yet (still).
