Love at first sniff. It’s a dark, natural forest where blackberry shines in all its glory. It’s the Yves Rocher blackberry cologne that defined my generation, but with brutal quality. While other current versions turn it into jam or caramel, this maintains that green and violet fidelity between berries and trees, offering the perfect vegetal interpretation we’ve been missing.
Love at first sniff. It’s the fruit in a dark, natural forest, absolutely beautiful. Naturalistic, realistic, and straight into the berry-filled woods. No doubts here. It’s like that Yves Rocher blackberry cologne that defined my generation (I’m part of it), but with top-tier quality. For anyone missing that vegetal interpretation of blackberry. Current versions (like Amethyst by Lalique) turn it into jam, caramel, or something sweet, very different from the natural scent of the berry. Green and violet fidelity between berries and trees.
Very faint blackberry notes that fade quickly, leaving just the musk and a herbal touch that doesn’t quite work for me. It’s a very light fragrance, almost like a vintage cologne à la Álvarez Gómez. I expected more, though I do recognize the ingredients are high quality. I guess that justifies the price, even if the longevity is disappointing.
