This is one of my absolute kings. It tells a unique story: although it has no aquatic notes, I sense them on my skin, and that’s where its magic lies. It’s like The Little Mermaid and Cinderella all in one: a mermaid who gets human legs for one night, only to vanish into foam before her prince at dawn. I think that aquatic sensation comes from the mix of peach and iris, though I can’t quite explain why. It’s perfect for special occasions and nighttime events. On my skin, it lasts until the next day, and on clothes, up to one or two weeks. Excellent perfume: even the smell of cigarettes (which I hate) doesn’t kill it; on the contrary, while it doesn’t remove the smoke, it mutes it and keeps shining like Cinderella’s glass slipper. I LOVE IT. It reminds me of nothing I know. If there’s a very similar one, let me know, because Mon Bouquet de Marina is hard to find.
