I’ve been waiting forever for this perfume to hit Argentina. I tried it in-store yesterday, and reality didn’t match my expectations: it turns out to be very sweet and amber-heavy. I’m relieved I didn’t buy it blind; right now, if a fragrance doesn’t love me from start to finish, I’m not taking it out of the store. Sticking with tropical fruit, I’m still betting on Marshmallow Addiction.

This was a fragrance that didn’t last long in my collection because I found it redundant compared to Fame and Yara Tous. Although all three are similar, they aren’t identical, but personally, I didn’t need three such similar scents when there are so many beautiful ones to discover. It has a memorable aura; its star note is a sweet ripe mango with vanilla and a subtle floral touch. It’s tropical and fruity, but its longevity is scarce, about 3 hours. If you already own Fame or Yara Tous (my favorite) and you like tropical or mango perfumes, it’s worth it in 30 ml for summer or casual wear. Launched in 2022, it was out of stock for over a year with crazy second-hand prices, but now (September 2024) Zara has relaunched it. For more comparisons, check my profile on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube @probadoaprobado.

I wore it for a short time because it reminded me of Fame and Tous’s Yara, though they aren’t identical. Since I have so many precious scents to discover, I didn’t need three similar ones. It has a memorable aura: sweet ripe mango with vanilla and a floral touch. It’s tropical and fruity, but lasts about 3 hours. If you don’t have the other two and like tropical or mango perfumes, it’s a great option in 30 ml for summer or casual moments. It launched in 2022, was out of stock for a year, and sold for crazy prices on the secondhand market, but Zara relaunched it in September 2024. Even though I don’t know Fame, it smells very similar to La Vie Est Belle Intensement to me. I find it too floral and sharp, with barely any mango showing through. If you’re a lover of fruity and gourmand scents, you might not love this. I didn’t like it at all, just like I didn’t like La Vie Est Belle Intensement.

To start, it’s not a perfume I adore. It’s quite a simple scent: ripe mango with vanilla. I expected something more acidic, citrusy, and rough, like a real good mango. No, it’s cloyingly sweet and creamy. If you like it that way, go ahead. I’ll finish my 30 ml bottle and look for another option. But… today I felt brave enough to write because after 3 or 4 hours of wearing it (about 8-10 sprays) at work, people told me it was noticeable; they even asked if we had an air freshener on. It doesn’t smell like cheap air freshener, but like a good one. Lasting more than 4 hours and being noticeable from two meters away is a huge plus in such an affordable perfume. I could feel it all morning without reapplying. Conclusion: great longevity and sillage. Fruity gourmand aroma, reminiscent of a mango and vanilla panna cotta dessert. Unbeatable price. If it’s not available now, they’ll surely restock it.

Not my favorite perfume. It’s a simple scent: ripe mango with vanilla. I expected something more acidic, citrusy, and sharp, like a real good mango, but this one is overly sweet and creamy. I own Fame and love it. This smells exactly the same on my skin; I can’t perceive any differences (yet) in either scent or performance. Unfortunately, on my skin it doesn’t have much sillage or longevity; I applied it at 7 am and by noon I could only smell it up close. I hope it improves with time, but for the price, it’s still worth it.

I don’t know Fame, so I’m reviewing it without comparisons. For me, it’s a delight, a simple olfactory pleasure that’s easy to wear and liked by both the wearer and those around; in fact, it’s the perfume I get asked about most or receive compliments on, much more than expected for something so cheap (I bought it for around 230€ on a Zara sale). I perceive the scent as a mango milk ice cream loaded with vanilla, totally sweet with mango and vanilla from start to finish. It might be a bit boring, but it’s cute. I’ve really liked it because mango is my favorite fruit. It’s for informal use, lasts about 6 hours, with medium sillage, without being overwhelming or cloying.

I don’t know Fame, so I’m enjoying and reviewing this perfume without falling into comparisons. For me, wearing it is a delight and an olfactory pleasure; being so simple, it’s very easy to wear and pleases both the wearer and those around them. Curiously, it’s the perfume I’ve been asked about or received compliments on the most, much more than I expected for something so cheap (I bought it for approx. €230 on a Zara sale). I perceive the aroma as a very mango-heavy milk ice cream, totally vanilla and sweet mango, same scent from start to finish. It can get boring, but it’s still lovely. I really liked it because mango is my favorite fruit. It’s for informal use, lasts approx. 6 hours, with medium sillage, not overwhelming or cloying.

To me, it smells like Fame, but sweeter and less intense; I detect mango, vanilla, and a clean touch. I love it. Try it and don’t believe the saying ‘a cheap perfume can never compare to an expensive one’; tastes are subjective and depend on each person’s sense of smell and pH.

For me, it does resemble Fame; I find it sweet but not intense. You can smell the mango, the vanilla, and I sense a clean touch. I like it a lot. Try it and don’t let those comments about ‘a cheap perfume will never compare to an expensive one’ sway you; it depends on olfactory taste and skin pH, etc.

I love it! I went to Zara with my partner to smell all the colognes and choose one together; we both liked this one a lot. I have to say I was surprised when I looked it up on the forum and saw its main note is mango, because on my skin it smells quite similar to Good Girl by Carolina Herrera with a slightly fruity touch. For the price it has, the longevity is very good, and it doesn’t clog or give me a headache.

I love it! My partner and I went to Zara to sniff colognes and chose this. I was surprised to see that its main note is mango, because on my skin it smells very much like Good Girl by CH with a fruity twist. For the price, the longevity is great, and it doesn’t clog my nose or make me dizzy.

Memorable Aura doesn’t do justice to its name: I expected something more adult and evocative, not this super Gen Z bomb. In its defense, I brought it by mistake, grabbing the wrong bottle. I understand that fans of fruit cocktail styles like Ambipur will like it. The opening is ugly, synthetic, and cheaply fruity, like a cologne forgotten on a low-end shelf. Gradually, tropical sparkles start to emerge, though not yet placed. After a few minutes, finally! It shifts to something creamier and more worked. A thick blended mango, interesting, but not even in the slightest to justify its purchase. There are even brushstrokes of fairground ice cream (memories of Vietnam’s exquisite but brash Giorgio Beverly Hills), but unfortunately, it develops very little in this phase that makes it appetizing. The ending lacks soul. On my skin, it lasts about two hours to fade into an impersonal haze. I just read that it seems to be a dupe of the horrible Fame by Rabanne, and now I understand everything.
Toletole
Starts with a fruity-floral blend and a very light touch of mango. As it develops, it smells similar to Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl, but it’s not a clone; the original is more floral and spicy. Lasts about 1-2 hours on skin and up to 6 hours on clothes. Ideal for day or night wear, especially in spring.
