A unisex rose that disorients and provokes. At first, a geranium with a metallic and peppery kick. Then the roses come to the forefront, softening and becoming creamy thanks to the sandalwood, until the leather takes over. What I notice most is leather and rose. Perfect for going out on winter nights and turning heads. Not for shy people.
I was extremely surprised. I’ll admit I didn’t like it dry: on paper, it smells very bitter and smoky, almost like garlic, and the rose can sometimes feel intrusive, elegant in some and aggressive in others. But on skin, everything changes. The rose is the star, intense, beautiful, and elegant; it’s one of the most potent I’ve tried and lasted over 18 hours. It’s a rose nuanced with saffron, pepper, and a very light fruity note, sitting on a woody and creamy base where a smoky leather stands out, nothing like gasoline or burnt oil, more in the style of Francesca Bianchi. It already has its place in my collection; it’s exactly the rose I was missing.

But once applied to the skin, everything changed and a thousand nuances emerged. It’s an intense, beautiful, and elegant rose—the most potent one I’ve tried—and it lasted over 18 hours. The rose, with saffron, pepper, and a light fruity touch, rests on wood and cream, but what really stands out is the leather. It doesn’t smell like burnt oil or gasoline; instead, it’s smoky leather, very similar to what Francesca Bianchi does. It already has its place in my collection; it’s exactly the rose I was missing.
