I don’t compare it to Kayali, but I own Affection and prefer this one. The Lattafa version starts very citrusy, reminding me of a cleaning product, then turns creamy and sweet, but it doesn’t last and has zero projection. This one comes out super creamy, maybe sweeter. There’s a moment where it seems to fade, then suddenly comes back strong. It projects more, lasts longer, and sticks to clothes until I wash them. When dry, they’re almost identical—I wouldn’t buy both (when Affection runs out, I’ll get this). I noticed the peanut note for a few seconds, then it vanished.
Smells identical to Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato and Khair Pistacho from Paris Corner, but what I did notice is that this one lasts much longer on the skin than the previous ones.
It’s not the same as Kayali; I own both. The Kayali smells more like pistachio ice cream and dries down sweet, like a bar of soap. Both highlight the pistachio heavily, but this Luscious smells less sweet and ends up with more spice. Maybe it’s more potent and noticeable, but they are definitely not the same.
Got it as a gift. Being a fan of aquatic and ozony scents, I wasn’t hooked at first. But even though it comes from my favorite olfactory family, the quality is top-notch, especially for the price. It starts with bergamota, but almost immediately the pistachio takes over. The dry down is sweet with vanilla, lasts for hours, and has an insane projection. Best for very cold days; in the heat, it can be a bit overwhelming.
