Descripción

Laura by Laura Biagiotti is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1994, this composition was created by nose Anne Flipo. The top notes unfold with watermelon, peach, lychee, green notes, plum, bergamot, and Brazilian rosewood; the heart reveals freesia, cyclamen, valley lily, violet, orchid, rose, and jasmine; while the base notes settle on musk, vanilla, sandalwood, cedar, amber, and vetiver.

  • Fresh and comforting, it smells like watermelon and lychee but mostly like apple. It’s a fruity scent that’s not gourmand, more aquatic and very 90s, ideal for a young, sweet, cheerful, and sparkling woman that everyone wants to be around. They re-released it this summer after years, and although I still like the aroma just as much, the longevity is terrible and the price hasn’t dropped that much. Poor quality/price ratio now.

  • Fresh and comforting, smells like watermelon and lychee, but mostly apple. It’s fruity, not gourmand, more aquatic and very 90s. Perfect for a young, sweet, cheerful, and sparkly woman that everyone wants to be with. I bought it again this summer after a few years; while I still like the scent, the longevity is terrible and the price hasn’t dropped much. Poor value for money now.

  • It was the only perfume I could wear during my pregnancy and it brings back beautiful memories. Excellent longevity and considerable sillage. During all my medical appointments, every nurse asked about it. Fresh, elegant, and long-lasting. Although it has nothing to do with the sugary perfumes that are in vogue now.

  • I’m sorry. I bought it excited, but it smells like hairspray, cheap cologne, and it’s not even cheap.

  • I just bought it after many years and it has disappointed me so much… This isn’t the Laura I knew. I suppose they reformulated it because now it lasts a maximum of one or two hours and it has lost that fresh, sparkling charm I felt when I first applied it… What a pity.

  • Bianca del Rio

I bought it recently to relive that era I had in the past. Although the scent is the same, the reformulation here has been extreme. You have to spray it 20 times to even notice the smell, and the longevity is terrible. What a shame.

  • I completely agree with :Bianca del Rio. It was a bomb back in its day; a coworker used it and I loved it. Out of respect and because I don’t like copying perfumes from others if I’m wearing it for 8 hours at work, I didn’t buy it. But last year I saw it at Primor and didn’t hesitate (I no longer work with her, we’re 1000km apart, and I’m sure she’s not using it anymore, haha), so I took it home and what a disappointment 😢… I literally showered with it and it left no trail. Another disaster of reformulations.

  • One of my first loves. I adored it in my teens, but now it smells too sweet and fruity. The opening is a blast of syrupy watermelon with lychee, quite grating. It improves as it dries down, becoming more floral with muguet and freesia, though the watermelon and vanilla remain. The projection is a bomb for the first hour (which is what bothers me most) and then it almost disappears; after 4 hours, it barely smells. It’s a spring perfume for women who love fruit, but it just doesn’t work for me anymore. It reminds me a lot of the original Hugo Boss Women from the 90s, which was fresher and less sweet. Pleasant: 4/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 5/10 Original: 5/10

  • This was one of my first perfumes. I used to wear it and love it when I was a teenager, but my tastes have changed and now I find it too sweet and fruity. The opening is a blast of watermelon syrup (but powdery watermelon) with a bit of lychee, which ends up being quite grating on my skin. The dry down improves, as it becomes more floral (mainly narcissus and freesia) and less sweet, even though the watermelon is still there and the vanilla is more noticeable. Another issue is projection and longevity: it’s a bomb for the first hour (the phase I dislike the most) and then it almost disappears. After 4 hours, I can barely smell anything. I’d say it’s a spring perfume for fruit lovers; unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me anymore. Curiously, it reminds me a lot of the original Hugo Boss Women from the 90s, even though that one was fresher and less sweet. Pleasant: 4/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 5/10 Original: 5/10

  • Got it through a swap. At first, that blend of fruits and greens on my skin just didn’t work for me. I’ve tried it several times and it definitely isn’t for me. What a pity, because the drop-shaped bottle is a very beautiful and original design.

  • I got it through a swap. At first, it opens with a mix of fruity and green notes that I didn’t like on my skin. I’ve tried it several times and I think it just doesn’t suit me. It’s a shame; what I would highlight is that it has a very original and beautiful bottle shaped like a drop.
