  I loved the opening of this fragrance. I couldn’t stop spraying it when I first smelled it. It’s fresh, fruity, and clean—perfect for spring. The opening is potent, but after a few minutes, it stays only on the skin. Even though I don’t mind reapplying every hour given the price, the atomizer works well. The bottle is pretty, though the cap is plastic; it doesn’t look bad and fits nicely. I liked it so much that I wanted to try the perfume it’s said to be inspired by, Si Passione. The truth is, it does remind me of it, although of course they aren’t 100% identical. This one smells a bit sweeter than Armani’s, which has better performance and smells cleaner and more natural.

  It smells like a very elaborate and elegant bathwater. The longevity is short and the trail isn’t very intense, but the result is exquisite. Pear isn’t my favorite note, but vanilla takes over and pauses there before moving into a velvety, relaxed cedar that embraces the jasmine. I love it! I haven’t tried Armani’s ‘Si’ because I didn’t know it existed, so I can’t compare them. Price-to-quality ratio: 10/10.

  I bought three of these La Rive fragrances and I’m still not sure what to make of them. Even though I don’t know the original well, the opening smells a bit like alcohol, and once it dries, the first ten minutes are fresh, fruity, and musky. But deep down, I just don’t like it: it’s a synthetic, plastic, and ugly scent. I need to try the other two to see if they’re the same. In the end, I think it’s better to save up and go for the original perfume.
