I like this fragrance; I feel it’s ideal for spring. The sweetness of the tangerine is soft, mixed with jasmine and a final touch of sandalwood that makes it incredibly irresistible.
It’s one of the few fruity perfumes I’ve liked. To me, it smells like jasmine and roses; I sense something creamy, very pleasant and feminine. Actually, I don’t detect tangerine. The only thing is that on my skin, it doesn’t last long. Edit: it has become one of my favorites; I don’t know if it’s due to changes in skin chemistry or hormonal cycles, but there are days it lasts longer. It’s muuuy pleasant and damn good.
Very rich, long-lasting, and leaves a feminine touch wherever you go.
This fragrance is another one of my loves because I identify with it so much; my friends associate me with it. I love its sweet and creamy scent; the lychee and blackcurrants give it that exquisite touch, then the roses with jasmine make it truly delicious. It’s for those days when you feel sweet, tender, and sensual. On my skin, it lasts more than 12 hours.
Fresh and sweet, like sweet citrus with jasmine and a spice base, I think that’s the musk. It’s wonderful, my summer perfume. But it lasts so little; they should make one of it.
I wasn’t interested in the perfume, the bottle, or the name. But when I smelled it, I was impressed. It’s creamy, a bit floral, fresh and sweet, with the cleanliness that the musk brings.
I wasn’t interested in the perfume, the bottle, or the name, nothing. But when I smelled it, I was impressed. It’s creamy, a bit floral, fresh and sweet at the same time, with the cleanliness that the musk gives it.
I bought it and it’s 100% feminine; at first, it smells like champagne, like pure liquor, but then the real perfume comes out. Perfect for daily wear, very womanly, no doubt. I wouldn’t recommend it for night because you lose some style and don’t stand out, but during the day at a lunch with friends, it’s excellent.
Very pleasant combination of jasmine and lychee, with a soft touch of tangerine. Feminine, creamy, and sweet without being cloying, a total discovery. What I dislike the most is the bottle; I find it too simple and boring for such a coquettish perfume it contains.

It was love at first sight and an unfaithful love. I was going to buy Boss Nuit, which I liked, but suddenly that simple bottle caught my attention, as if it wasn’t trying to make an effort. I tried it and told the saleswoman: ‘I’m not taking the Nuit anymore.’ I turned it over in my mind in case the evolution didn’t work, but it was the opposite. I use it carefully because my boyfriend is fascinated by it, but I agree they should make an EDP. It lasts only a few hours. Edit 8 years later: Ayayay XX, we meet again. You find me living a life you never imagined, but you return to me just as I remember you, warm and flirtatious, very intimate and with cozy sweetness. Work is constant stress, but my memories from 25 years ago and this perfume tell me ‘everything turns out fine.’ With its sillage sticking to the skin and intermittent longevity, it disappears and reappears unexpectedly in the afternoon: ‘don’t forget,’ it says playfully. It’s a perfume for personal enjoyment, full of memories, respectful, and not revolutionary, suitable for many tastes.
Love at first sight and an unfaithful love. I was about to buy Boss Nuit, which I had tried and liked the evolution of, but suddenly this simple bottle caught my eye, as if they didn’t want to put in the effort. I tried it and told the salesperson, ‘I’m not taking the Nuit anymore.’ I went back and forth wondering if the evolution wasn’t my thing, but it was the opposite. I use it carefully because my boyfriend is fascinated by it, but I agree they should release it as an EDP… It only lasts a few hours! (30/08/15) October 9, 2023 edition: Ayayay XX, we meet again, 8 years later… I find you living a life I never imagined, not even the place. But you return to me just as I remember you, warm and coquettish, very intimate with a soft, cozy sweetness… Work is constant stress, but my memories of being 25 with this perfume tell me ‘everything ends well in the end.’ With its sillage clinging to the skin and intermittent longevity, it disappears quickly but reappears unexpectedly in the afternoon after finishing reports… ‘don’t forget,’ it says playfully. It’s totally for personal enjoyment and full of memories for me. However, it’s a respectful scent and nothing revolutionary, suitable for many tastes.
Very feminine but very generic; I feel it’s missing something, even though the longevity is excellent… But I wouldn’t use it again.
XX is another delicious perfume from Hugo Boss; I don’t know how they manage to make their scents stick in the mind. Although my signature is something else, I don’t hold it against any of this designer’s creations.
It’s one of my favorites; it’s not the classic fruity floral, it has good sillage, and I love it.
Long-lasting, floral, and creamy. I had it a while ago and smelled it again yesterday… so many memories! It’s quite penetrating, almost overpowering, so be careful with how much you spray to avoid cloying. It’s sweet and has a very distinct scent; I don’t know another that resembles it. The sandalwood subtly wraps everything around. The longevity is moderate; it starts strong, but after five or six hours, you need to reapply.
Delicious, I want to have it again.
You never get tired of smelling it; it doesn’t fatigue the senses, and the trail it leaves on the skin is amazing—it puts me at peace.
I see it as super feminine, discreet, and delicate.
What a lovely coincidence! This scent is gorgeous: feminine, delicate, and super pleasant without being overpowering. It has that creamy jasmine that made me fall for Alien, but it’s much more wearable. I’m surprised they classify it as fruity; it’s the first one in my collection with that note. It’s a pity it doesn’t last more than 2-3 hours and requires reapplication. It reminds me of CK Euphoria Endless, even though the notes don’t quite match. A marvel in such a simple bottle that looks like a joke.
Incredible, adorable, and a beautiful scent!
Hugo XX has a protagonist note: basmati rice, which smells like kitchen spices, leaning towards curry, astringent from the start. Then comes a juicy fruit note that doesn’t last more than two minutes, it must be lychee. In the middle phase, it intensifies along with jasmine and rose, making the perfume sweet; jasmine takes over but rose lingers, all covered with sandalwood that adds more sweetness, with musk that makes it almost powdery, ending with sweet traces of amber. Hugo XX is a mass-market scent, but not generic. Quality stands out because within mass-market perfumes there is also excellence. Its scent is timeless, but it stands out more at night. It doesn’t fit for sports or beach, but yes for office, social gatherings, and casual. It reminded me of catalog perfumes like Mithyka by L’Bel or Dulce Vanidad by Yanbal, which also have quality but remain generic due to shared sweet notes (rose, jasmine, sandalwood). However, Hugo XX doesn’t feel synthetic; it’s soft, slightly sweet, feminine, almost powdery, for women in full bloom, neither too here nor too there. My review is for an eau de toilette, it lasts a lot and makes itself noticed softly. In conclusion, recommended; it doesn’t seduce but doesn’t disappoint either. I think the kitchen spice note is what gives it personality.
Since I tried it in 2006, it hasn’t left my collection. I don’t find it similar to any other; I think it’s the rice that gives it that special touch. I perceive it as very soft, talc-like, and it lasts all day. What I like most is that I haven’t heard it on anyone else, maybe because the bottle doesn’t draw much attention.
Fresh, feminine, soft, and sweet fragrance; no single note stands out. I describe it as a cocktail of tropical fruits with flowers balanced with cleanliness; a subtle sweetness that accompanies you for several hours. I used it until it was no longer on the shelves and I was left looking for it. What I liked most is that it’s easy to wear, for any occasion, and better for the day.
I liked it, though I gave it away because they sold me a copy and the scent changed. I kept it for a long time; when I used it, people asked what perfume it was. Like Hugo Boss, it had presence. To me, it seems more floral than fruity, but above all more woody and oriental.
Rich… it’s not sexy or seductive, nothing spectacular. Strong opening but zero sillage, though it has longevity on the skin. Lots of floral scent, fresh and clean, like someone just showered. For daily use, informal, casual, any age or season, ideally warm climates. I bought it blind based on references and I don’t regret it. I’ll enjoy it until it runs out, but I won’t buy it again.
It’s fresh, floral, delicate, and delicious; it has become my favorite. I receive many compliments when I wear it.
It has sillage, it’s quite strong, creamy, and lasts hours; even my clothes stay perfumed. If I walk into my room, Hugo appears among all the perfumes. It’s more floral than fruity, for nights or cold days. It’s elegant, for someone confident; you’ll leave a mark and receive compliments, very feminine. In my case, it saturates me a bit, so I apply only two drops. Recommended.
It’s tender, delicate, and exquisite! It seems very similar to Gucci Guilty EDT.
I finished it and already! Love at first sniff. I loved it. It’s super feminine, floral, and as it dries down it becomes sweet without being overpowering. It drew a lot of attention from men and I received nice compliments; I’m sure they find it sexy. I recommend it for summer; even though it’s sweet, it has fresh touches and is easy to wear for going out, eating, or going to the movies. I’d buy it again in spring to use it again in the heat.
I don’t know why I see a resemblance to 212 and Gucci Guilty; it’s the same style. Very good scent, urban and dynamic yet feminine. In this case, the eau de toilette lasts 20 minutes on my skin. That’s why I wouldn’t buy it again. I haven’t tried the EDP.
It’s indifferent to me. It’s a white floral, creamy, with quite musky notes. Super nice for everyday wear and very versatile. Ideal for ages 25+. I prefer juicier, sparklier scents.
It has a soft scent, but it’s a very weak fragrance in terms of projection and longevity; on skin, it only lasts 30 minutes. I wouldn’t buy it again, although the price is accessible.
I tried it on a dupe because it’s no longer sold here, but it’s an absolute delight, so I suppose they’re similar. Its scent is soft, feminine, and smells like just-bathed. The trail is moderate, leaning sweet, and I sense a slight resemblance to Cancán, probably due to the tangerine. I’d buy the original version because I hope that one has more projection and longevity. It’s one of those perfumes you can’t find everywhere that’s worth the wait.
I first smelled it on my mom’s skin years ago and thought it was exquisite and timeless. Since we always went out together, I didn’t want to add it to my collection so I wouldn’t look like perfume twins. The bottle ran out and I forgot about it, until a friend used it and I smelled it again. It was like reconnecting with a platonic love; I recognized it instantly. To me, it just smells like roses, and after bad experiences with perfumes that smell like nothing, I didn’t hesitate to buy it without guilt. It’s soft but lasts a long time on my skin; sweet but not cloying; fresh and warm at the same time, in perfect measure. It’s creamy and feminine above all. Its charm is that it’s not sexy or wild like Sofia Loren, but rather sensual and delicate like Grace Kelly. A 10!!!
I bought it blind again and liked it quite a bit. It maintains a great balance between fruits and flowers. It’s elegant for formal events but also perfect for everyday wear. The balance of its notes makes it a good fragrance at a reasonable price with decent longevity. The bottle is quite heavy, so be careful when holding it.
It’s floral and fruity, fresh. I’ve always wanted it; when I tried it on another girl, it smelled delicious, like a rich, clean scent. But on me, it doesn’t work the same way, and besides, it gives me an allergy.
I tried it on my sister today, and on the way home, I was trying to remember which of my scents it reminded me of… until my olfactory memory did a magic trick 🥹. It’s very similar to my beloved Enchanted Essence by Jesús de Pozo, which is no longer in production. I was longing to find something like this, and today I finally did 💓.
I truly love it! I treat it like the apple of my eye. I own tons of perfumes, and this is definitely one of my favorites. I wish everyone had it because it’s worth every penny to smell like this.
I’ve had this since launch and it’s an absolute beast. Smelling it again today left me speechless: wow. It has a power and presence that simply don’t exist anymore. It’s for going out to ‘kill it’—super sexy and ready to match any outfit; it will leave everyone at your feet.
